The man in Jen’s hallucination is credited as “the doctor,” I think he’s likely related to the important “work” Agatha referred to. Jen is a potions witch, maybe she was doing healing work that would have been threatening to a white male physician a century ago, and he attacked and traumatized her. There’s a history of women and specifically Black women healers and midwives being accused of witchcraft and persecuted.
There’s also a theory that Lilia’s hallucination where she says “They’re all dead” might be related to the Italian plague in the 1600s. In episode 2 Lilia talked about being chased out of villages for “accurately predicting tragedy,” the timing and location would line up, and witches and women accused of witchcraft were scapegoated during disease outbreaks...

I’m not sold that Agatha just straight up traded her son for the book because of how she’s acting. It’s possible of course but she was crying and clearly upset so perhaps she was tricked or didn’t know what the price would ultimately cost her to get the book.

im gonna keep being in denial over sharon, either she's pulling a prank on them or she's gonna be a spirit guide, like the song says. ''If one be gone we carry on, spirit as our guide''

That episode was interesting yet intense!!! I really loved how Agatha reminded Jen that her knowledge was her true power in this moment!! Loosing Sharon was a bittersweet moment; despite her lack of knowledge and magic, she still knew how to party with wine and dry humor. Not that I’m opposed to idea of Teen being Agatha’s son, I’m still convinced that he’s really Billy Kaplan/Wiccan. However if Agatha had to give up her son to obtain the Darkhold, I theoretically believe that he was raised and trained by Mephisto, who could’ve also placed the sigil on Teen. Maybe after discovering his mother’s betrayal, Agatha’s son created the Salem Seven to hunt her down and make her suffer to get his revenge on her. I can’t wait for the next episode and hopefully for Aubrey to join us down the road!!! 🔯✨🧪😈😨🥺🖤💜
