RougeAK47: So a few things to note here, the small flag on the garrison signals that there is not AI, this is fixed through bunker tech in the left most column in the bunker upgrades, a small garrison is required for permanent AI and a provisional will give you AI with ten players having their spawn set there. When building there is a delay before decay starts to take place iirc it’s 24-48 hours depending on the building and tier. The easiest way to get msups to is have a local msup facility set up near a salvage mine or two. When building a bunker core you only need 6 pieces, different configurations will give you different structural integrity. NEVER put engine rooms and ammo rooms in a bunker core or integral part of your defenses as they severely lower the integrity. For the other bunker upgrades you need to add modifications to tier 2 and above bunker pieces, if you hover over the upgrades it will tell you how many, it does not matter which one unless you care about minor buffs to specific actions i.e howitzer firing rate or observation bunker range. Try to tech one column at a time not including the left most, it’s quicker to build two separate cores and tech them on two different columns and stealing tech from both to flesh out your defenses. Hasshe: This is technically a bunker base, but its a terrible one at that. A bunker base is often good or bad depending on 3 factors:
- Location
- Decay
- Defensibility
For the location you wanna build it somewhere where it will be useful and protect an important location/road, Lathair is fine.
Decay can be very important for a base, you do not want to add unnecessary pieces that will just increase your maintenance cost and the cost of maintenance for the whole subregion. So the smaller and more compact the BB, the better
Defensibility is the most important factor, Building in foxhole has so much depth because you need to build bunkers that can last sieges and counter 10+ different PvE methods. THey need to be built in order to minimise blind spots where individual pieces can be hit without retaliation. That is why most bunker pieces in foxhole have the same design that was proven to be good. Knowing how to build a bunker base correctly, means knowing how to make it survive an attack. I don't wanna be mean, but yours is pretty awful. The shape of your core structurecan only have 3 more garrisons for its 13 pieces, that is a really low ratio.
Also structural integrity doesn't mean what you said, its a modifier that changes a structure's health depending on the number of pieces and Tier, a tier 1 bunker will lose a lot of health from having 15 pieces compared to tier 3.
