#UltramanArc - ภาพยนตร์และแอนิเมชัน
first the transition from video recorder to fight with the timer in the corner to show the duration of the fight NOW first person POV from Ultraman AND the Kaiju's perspective during the fight?! Clever details like that make me *so* invested in future episodes, love that
Seriously, I hope every episode contains some out of the ordinary ideas like that.
This is why I love Tsuburaya, always coming up with unique ways to show the action.
I know it was very creative to do that!
This would be my first time watching a second episode of an Ultraman series
Great! Hope you keep going
I hope you're enjoying it!
@@tokutexascosplay5066 I likely will, I had an enjoyment of the two episodes so far.
Hope your having a great time man
Good luck bro
I like how Yuma and Arc communicate mostly non-verbally, makes it for a more unique dynamic.
This show feels oddly classic, while still being fresh, in a way that other reiwa series haven't, and it's nice that they can make so many different iterations and still feel 100% ultraman
22:44 Ishido took his smartphone away from his ear after his boss yelled at him. It seems he did something quite unreasonable regarding the satellite usage.
In the previous episode, Ishido was "seemed to be an inflexible stickler, but is actually a pretty good guy", and in this episode, he is "seemed to be a pretty good guy, but turns out to be someone with a dark side", making him a fascinating character.
I have a crazy, probably wrong theory. Since Tsubaraya is being mysterious about Arc's origins, and since we've seen him appear to Yuma in mirror, and since it's been long established that many Ultras can come from places other than Nebula M-78, is it completely outside the realm of possibility that Arc is from the Planet of Mirrors, or perhaps a planet in the same star system?
I think it would be a cool twist to have Arc be related to Mirror Knight or Mirrorman.
That's...actually not as crazy as it sounds. The shapes of Arc's eyes do kinda give me Mirrorman vibes
2:04 Director Tsujimoto explained at the press conference that this footage (background) is not CG. Incidentally, there is a music video that uses the same techniques to create the same footage as this background. It's so unexpected, it might shock you a bit... Juice=Juice 『ロマンスの途中』 [Romance is on its way] (MV)
Yeah he wanted to film the title card Showa style
@@EvilDoresh It worked well for sure!
Alright, I love Arc. The whole “through their eyes” sequence was spectacular and I appreciated the tumbleweed so much. Plus that final scene… the drama begins!
I think Arc might be my favorite ultra series
I can't resist calling Ishido "coffee man". W
So it was created from a fairy tale?
The really stinky thing, the goo that burns everything it touches...
In the end the construction was aborted but it seems it's just the tip of the iceberg...
Ultra-greetings from Brazil! Hi Indonesia guys!
Arc's power is his ability to use his Weaponized Brain Blast. Like from Jimmy Neutron.
Call it an early crackpot theory, but I wonder if this is what they're gonna imply throughout the first half. The season has the subtle theming of "Imagination," right? I wonder if the giant space horn, is somehow creating the kaiju using the imagination of others. Perhaps even something temporal about it, like the brief mention how Hayato's Leodo crayon sketch was similar to the historical sketches.
More crackpot: You're right, and the monohorn is what created Gavadon
I like this theory. You might be onto something, since the franchise has done it before with Gyango, Gavadon, and the Minus Energy kaiju from 80. King of Mons was born from a kid's imagination too, and he's near 100% confirmed to return in Arc
Rution's Giant of Light form IS suggested to have been inspired by Yuma's drawing...
This is awesome. I'm so glad this is easily accessible to watch. It's nice to not have to dig to watch a tokutsatsu show.
Ultraman truly never disappoints with the fight scenes

So happy there are English dubs available! I love enjoying Toku along with people from around the world!
Ngl, the dub has been great so far. Everyone's showing just the right amount of emotion without it coming off as overacting.
Seeing the fight in both POVs was unexpected and as for the episode there isn't too much to comment about it other than an uncovering of an ancient kaiju that was awakened from slumber due to construction work. That and the indirect guidance Yuma can get from Arc pointing him to what will help him.
I like how Ishido is learning from Yuma where it all starts with trusting and it ultimately paid off for him as it lead to him discovering high readings likely from the Monohorn near the sight of Leodo's tomb if you will. So Ishido was sent to SKIP by the GDF for another purpose and it has everything to do with the recent Monohorn activity and the growing kaiju awakenings. I am certain Ishido will tell the others of what he has been looking for soon.
Glad to see an elephant kaiju again it's been awhile since we got an elephant kaiju since Gazebo
22:57 i wonder what Mr. Ishido talking about
His talking about the Horn I think because they show the Horn after he mentioned about the increasing rate
Leodo, the combination design of Black King and Geronimon.
Might explain why he's so tanky XD
We Wish to Have an Ultraman Official Filipino Channel as well as The Filipino Dub of Ultraman Z
I’m not crying YOU’RE CRYING!
Thank you for the upload. I like it. And I especially like the camera angle trick played out in the fight scene. From the vision of Ultra fighting the kaiju to the vision of kaiju fighting Ultra. Even the previous episode of the inside building where the camera panned from one floor to the next showing how big Ultra was. It was quite a fun visual delight.
1:27, I'm pretty sure the fangirls would. Hehehe.
2:52, Layzner-style opening. Lonely way!
A jump to the sky turns into an arc.
3:58, how do you explain this then?
Hayato?! 0.o
You're not RYOMA NAGARE, man!! He can only say his name.
10:00, NO! Don't open it!!
10:08, well, it's something.
10:40, that makes sense.
11:54, that's using the ol' noggin.
12:39, the legends are true. We're in deep shit now.
14:38, funny looking mother-effer, isn't he?
15:50, not gonna do that American Tail thing! You know the scene!
18:27, I've seen this from Ultraman Taro. That moving thing, yup.
20:18, You bot! HEAD ON!
21:01, why not send him down to the ocean? Not a lot of heat in there.
22:24, that's a bit...off. Also, I LOOK NOTHING LIKE THAT!
23:06, the plot thickens. Ishida isn't whom he's what he's told the guys.
I see Getter Robo fan
@@kociarzultimate384 Sorry? I'm sorry I ever knew that kid! TRAITOR!! (Despite being a kid, I'm still putting my distance for that kid will SURELY become the chose one of the Getter rays!!)
Oh and speaking of Getter, here's a fun fact: Ken Ishikawa worked on an Ultraman Taro manga and the stuff that happened in that manga will shape the modern Land of Light we knew. It was a year before Getter Robo became a thing with its manga and anime too.
@@kociarzultimate384
Also, my only regret is ever trusting that KID! TRAITOR!! Don't let him fool you! He's the chosen one of the Getter RAYS!! He'll backstab anyone in the Getter Robo series if he wanted to.
Yeah, I was too into that English dub of Getter Robo Armageddon. XD
Love how Yuma turns into Arc the music behind sounds so soothing
Awesome series❤ thank you for dubbing it in my language.
loved the action and angles
It might be a bit early to call, but this might be the proper successor to Blazar.
Yuma is a great kid.
The action is so insanely inventive! A week is too long to wait between episodes 😩
This show is fantastic 🌈❤️
12:37 to 13:14 brings a smile to my face seeing the SKIP team leaning to the side to get a better view of Leodo, only to turn back to normal standing position when Hiroshi is getting them to move out due to Leodo's body temp raising.
Another kaiju from a mythology just like Blazar
ngl this is episode is Peak Ultraman show is, simple, straightforward, amazing action, good lesson and little hint of mystery/intrigue at the end
kinda shame they basically didnt address the heck yuma doing by running towards kaiju, and then ultraman appearing, but at this point its classic ultraman trope
I've got to say that I'm impressed with the sound effects on the forest kaiju, Leodo. The writers used actual animal sounds for the monster. I also like that Arc's grunts kind of pays reminiscence to the original Ultraman like Z does.
I think leodo Kaiju was modified from black king suits. Did you guys agree?
tbh I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case plus it wouldn't be the first time that's happened and no doubt it won't be the last either
I think so
Funnily enough, the sofubi is retooled from Black King as well. Makes sense too, since the Black King suit has been around since Mebius and probably won't last much longer
Go Arc!
POV YOUPI : Says Youpi Youpi on the job
POV YUMA : Says Yuma Time to run Yuma
Saya android kali
Smile, smile!
Ive watched thousands of Japanese ultraman videos and this english channel, i just love.
I never got to watch much Ultraman growing up. my first experience with it was SSSS (Gridman) in the 90s. So i'm glad this is getting dubbed and available for us to watch for free!
This has been really interesting story so far and the fights are well done!
Ultraman is awsome, this is my first time watching the series and I can’t wait for more!!!
9:18
And so, Ultraman Arc finds himself leaping from life to life, and hoping each time that his next leap will be the leap home.
I'm really enjoying the series.
Commenting to boost
Leodo look like Gazebo from ultraman great towards the future
I like that pov view instead of showing the person "inside" of Ultraman
At 18:48 Arc uses an attack very reminiscent of another ultraman
Great episode
Wowie we got both ultra and kaiju pov
18:48-19:00 Ultraseven reference for the win
That was a tough monster!
If a kaiju barely reacts to your dropkick, you know you're in for a world of hurt
Leodo's body is a reuse of the Black King suit.
TIME TO RUN, YUMA!!!
Unleash your imagination!
Leodo no-selling that dropkick was somewhat alarming
Interesting monster design
Great show first ultraman ive watched from the beginning. And Rin is super cute
I love it please bring more, this is a great series 😊
Lets go Arc🔥
thx u toei for these wonderfull translation, us love japan long time
This is Tsuburaya. Toei does Kamen Rider and Super Sentai
bro this is tsuburaya work not toei different company
Time to run, Yuma! 🏃🏻💨 #UltramanArc
Great episode loved the poi shots
What would happen if Ultraman Arc meet Ultraman Ginga
Awesomeness
i want him to meet orb for their similarity LOL
I love how it seems like Arc was going to make the monster go back to sleep only to get sucked down with him. So he went 'nah I'm going to kill you.'
Super pumped!
One of yhr most epic ultra series ever but i still like trigger
Good stuff!🎉🎉🎉
This kaiju look like black king from ultraman jack?
The series aesthetic is styled around Return of Ultraman
It gives me Geronimon vibes
It’s a modified black king suit if I’m not mistaken
Well@@XQ_Paragonyour right cause of its tail and the ridges on the body
@@XQ_Paragon the sofubi reuses Black King's lower body and tail, so it's most likely a modified Black King. The suit's been around since Mebius too, so it's probably nearing its limit
English dub good
i see, arc somehow look a like ultra ace. 🤔 interesting and goodjob 🎉
It kinda bothered me how Leodo's trunk just dangling freely when it's not used to inhale air. Like, use it to choke Arc or something idk.
Shu-mazing
20:07 Achoo!

This Kaiju looked like a dinosaur with a trunk
Also, does the ending sound a bit like something from Macross?
Ultraman
So Kaiju are ancient aliens?
oh new ultraman after ultraman blazar
(i forgot the name of this Ultraman called blazar so i search ultraman b)
I’ve been to Japan man
I thought Arc is letting Leodo alive
Well Leodo insisted on another round.
Though it's hard to tell if he survived or not.
@@EvilDoresh he was firing his beam point blank, so Leodo's probably done for

Dateline Thursday July 25th, 2024.... looks like I'm going to need some ( ICED ) coffee myself, still roasting 🥵, but I got this.... REALLY: reviewing / commenting this episode & last week's, the Opening Ceremonies of the 2024 Paris 🇨🇵 Summer Olympics is tomorrow, OUR morning here 🇺🇲, the overnight there🇯🇵...SO MUCH to do....( CALM ), let's begin with this, Episode 2 : Legend of the Woods, and 2+4 takeaways here... that would be 6 of them.
One, A New Member...and a Plea... from a Kid. Now that Shu Ishido is joining the team, coffee maker and all, SKIP can finally manage themselves pretty well...until a call from a boy upended things...but there's a reason for this...and a reference from last year.
Two, Haven't We Heard this Before....ish? A construction crew was planning to build an apartment complex on a site where legends say a Kajiu rests there and a young boy named Hayato was calling SKIP to verify the information and find out what's going on there. Flashback to episode 5 of Ultraman Blazar last year and the scenario was a SKaRD test site for the Mega Cannon deployment, a shrine monument and...Dorgo, the Kajiu with the green beard that resides there. So who's the perpetrator THIS TIME?
Three, Finding....Leeodo. A store manager helps Yuma in discovering and learning more about this NEW Legend of the Woods, Leeodo was a Kajiu that roamed the area 1200 years ago bringing nothing but trouble in the area, until villagers dug a hole to trap Leeodo and put him to sleep...and bury him. Thanks to a satellite system employed by Shu, SKIP can trace any Kajiu locations before they head out to the scene, and a jug containing ....1200 year old vitamins.. ( are you sure that's not....poop? They both smell bad....as I was )....and lo and behold... there he was.. laying down, feet first ( and leaning back to see his position. Cue Fat Joe / Terror Squad's 20 year old classic Lean Back...at least 10 seconds of it... just in case 😁 )..but like ANY sleeping giant, he's due to wake up...&
Four, Stopping Leeodo and another game changing moment. Leeodo's awake, and ready to cause havoc once again. His looks are a collage, or rather a mix, combining Moguzion's wild do, a non-Tagnular like nose and elements of Black King ( that horn is a BIG clue here ), and lethal hot mud, volcanic,no, but hot stuff regardless. Once again, Arc springs into action and we're treated to another cool p.o.v., last time it was a clock timing Arc's first battle, THIS time, seeing the battle through both eyes, Arc's and Leeodo's ( cue Depeche Mode's World Through My Eyes... another 10 seconds of it.. CLASSIC! ) and a humorous moment. Poor U-Bot got sucked in Leeodo's 🐽...yuck, and Arc breaks out a pine tree branch, nothing like fresh pine to sneeze out of trouble...and into P-Body's hands...plop.. sanitizer plz! But did he handle Leeodo?!
Five, Into the Hole and Out of Trouble. Arc created a hole to lure Leeodo back to the ground, medicine and all, but all is not done yet... his nose dragged Arc to the hole and only had a few seconds to get out and be done with it...and he did, arch and all.
And Six, Not ANOTHER one! Hayato thanks SKIP with a greeting card and all is well for their second mission... but Shu's at the construction site and calls the GDF to say they've missed something on radar. It's one thing to find Leeodo's hiding place, it's ANOTHER to miss another Monohorn sighting... which they did.. oops. Conclusion, episode 2 was another joyous and exciting entry, a New Generation Black King, of sorts and exciting p.o.v's of both Arc and Leeodo fights, I give it another 10.5, so far, so good! Next time, a glimpse into what happened 16 years ago when Yuma and his parents were engaged in a battle against a Kajiu with a big horn, his parents killed in action and what is the NEW Kajiu that's let loose in the city? Unleashing memories and the Power of Imagination, hence the title of episode 3, Unleashing the Power of Imagination... well, with the Paris Summer Olympics starting tomorrow and this weekend ( and Episode 4 tmrw as well ), time to run...and catch up with BOTH episodes. What a schedule, I hope I don't stumble....or pass out this weekend 🥵😵💫...😊!

18:00 Wait... was that supposed to imply that there was someone inside the kaiju, like how Yuma was inside Ultraman Arc.
I don’t think that’s the case? I think it was just meant to be a cool transition between POV, not necessarily a plot point. Though who knows? I wont get my hopes up though.
No, it was just a cool production trick, much like how the action scene in the first episode was an uninterrupted shot. That one was kinda like the famous restaurant scene in _The Protector_ starring Tony Jaa, but on a smaller scale.
