2023 was the year of the stencil. Maybe you will need to make 2024...use an old stampset with every new one 😊 Gorgeous card! 😍

I forgot to mention that this set TOTALLY reminds me of the "Madeline" books! French story book about a little girl that went to school in buildings like that. I named one of my daughters that name! Sweet buildings and look French or Dutch to me!

In an old house in Paris all covered with vines…love the books of Madeline. I grew up with them, read them to my children and grand children.
We do the same thing Cathy, after 53 years of marriage, we only buy gifts for our Greats. When we gift to the adults, it is always the gift of an experience.

I couldn't catch this live but just watched the replay. Love your style and how you make me laugh! I read the article and got nostalgic when you mentioned Archivers - I loved that Roseville store and spent a lot of time there (I'm in Western Wisconsin) and was really sad when it closed. I love the card and colors. So cute.
Talking about concerts during the card design today brought back great memories! My all time most favorite concert ever was Tina Turner in the early 1980s in Greensboro, NC. We had fantastic seats - 7th row center stage!!!! Tina was amazing and her opening act was Lionel Richie!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

lol, I am catching up here on some videos , this was great! I could relate to the recycling part. The other night I was making a humorous card for a friend who just came out of surgery. I worked on that sucker for an hr, I kept going , even knowing deep down that it was looking bad! lol . Well I finished it, and took about 3 seconds to say to myself - this looks like poo! So it went into the recycling card grave. 😂😂😂😂 Redid it the next day and finished it in about 30 min and it looks great! 🤷♀️. Love this card you did Cathy! So cute! :)

Love, love, love the card and the video, Cathy! I moved from my hometown of St Paul about 3 years ago and before I left, my sister and I toured Paisley Park with the basic tour. Get your butt over there - it is worth the drive, absolutely- you will love it! Tell Dan it would be a good experience present for you. The drive is all freeways and not during rush hour (we drove from Oakdale). Happy Holidays!

I had FRONT row seats to the Crowded House reunion tour in 2007. I found myself unable to look directly at Neil, because I didn't want to seem like a creeper. hahaha! I love them so much. They are my favorite band of all time. Peter and Neil. Right up at the top!

I had a chance to go to see him on the Us tour, but the person who invited me was… odd, and it was in Wisconsin and I thought… I am going to pass. So i bought the concert film when it came out! SO good! Paula Cole on tour with him was genius!

Just took all my concert T shirts and framed them and put them on my living room wall so that I could enjoy them. Yup, saw Journey a few times, Eagles, Rod Stewart, Tina Turner, Rolling Stones. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. And the real present would be for Franklin. That's what it is all about.

I love that card! Those "little pink houses" are really cute! I think you are only a year or two younger than I and we pretty much have the same taste in music. I absolutely love Journey and my sister in law was in love with Steve Perry. I saw Styx one year for my birthday concert and they were amazing! Another amazing performance was Godsmack. But no one can top Paul McCartney! I've been lucky enough to see him twice. The first time was in '93 and Linda was still alive. Such an amazing concert. Oh and I also love Prince. Purple Rain still blows me away. And Peter Gabriel. I could go on and on about 80's music. But I won't. Have a great day!

Cathy, your hair is gorgeous! And I'm the same way lol I keep mine long but am always throwing it up on top of my head. But! I love to keep it long because for one, short hair doesn't work with the shape of my face. And two, it makes for beautiful photos! And you have an awesome coloring in your hair! I love how it has darker and lighter tones!
I also never realized how much some of the cc9 inks lightened up when they dry! Thanks for sharing that!

I just bought a few very pastel Concord and 9th mini cubes to give the brand a try. I was so pissed when I tested them out! They were vibrant and not very pastel. When I looked at the test stamps the next day, they were actually beautiful, smooth, creamy, solid and most of all, pastel! So yeah, I'm ordering more in the larger pad size. I really like their pad surface! 😁

Hello Cathy! Your card is brilliant and inspires to make one just like it too. You mentioned that you recalled something about Heart but then didn’t get to finish your thought. What were you going to say? I went to a Heart concert, 2017 maybe, and had the best time.
Ohhhhh. I grew up north of Seattle… and I loved Heart, but I remember my mom saying with great disdain in her voice, that they smoke marijuana from what she heard!!! lol.

id that WA DC or state? if you like that check out Solvang/Beulton CA, it's a very Danish town full of bakeries, and antique and novelty shops, in southern CA some of the buildings even have windmills on them, it's adorable and delicious [two of my favorite things] there are wineries, art galleries, Danish restaurants, charming hotels, and a Hans Christian Anderson park for kids that even has little kid-size toilets in the restrooms with a little mermaid statue there also a native American store just all kinds of unique and fun things a bike rental place that has bicycles built for two it's all level so it's easy to walk or ride around a great place to spend a couple of easy, safe non tourist trap days out of LA which you need if you spend much time there [in LAthat is] it's easy to find, right off hwy 101
