Education in the mother-tongue is absolutely vital, it is not true education without it. The United States is rooting for India! Best wishes :).

@@indology7975 stop this bullshit at once...there is no language killing another language...it is people like u and around u killing ur own language...and rather than going for this vs that in local language...put English as a rival language that is more responsible for killing ur mother tongue...I'm a gujarati and it kills me that i can't fluently speak my language and how much i rely on English words in between...boost ur language at local level...and don't down play other Indian languages at the same

These should be the top most priority for our nation's education system.
The actual indipendence for Bharatvarsh will be then only when we defeat our slave mentality, and it will happen when our overall education system is decorated by our mother tongue.
And then we will see a Great positive effect on each and every factor of lives of our nationals.
we have to purify india to regain Bharat.

Sanskrit can unite India if taught in the local scripts. Should be the national language else changing states create a lot of problem and from nowhere English takes the preference. Same object or the word kids learn in the state language then, Hindi then Sanskrit and English too. Wastage of time.

@@gopalramanathan7062 There have been too many execuses. However, if the Mother tongue becomes a hurdle for Sanskrit then it must stay as a family/local language. Any way, Mother tongue is a mixture of Sanskrit words + distortions. The word Table becomes Tabil in mother tongues or in the day to day pronunciation. There will be 130 cr mother tongues. However upon Sanskrit is made compulsory, it becomes the MT for the next generation. The local behavioral languages are still going to be there and ppl can read/write as their hoby or out of interest

*Originality of thought & expression is seriously damaged when medium of instruction is a foreign tongue. India is the only major country in the world where the issue of primacy of mother tongue is a matter of debate. Everywhere else it is just a matter of common sense.* Psychologists and linguists around the world are unanimous on this point. But the colonized elite of this country would just not let go off their master's language, i.e. English.

    1) International language - english
    2) Regional language - depends in which state you are
    3) National language - hindi (democratic / secular language)
    4) Mother tongue - depends on individual
every Indian is capable of knowing above 4 languages
    5) cultural & civilizational / rastriya / sanskritik language - sanscrit - to save our identity / dying language and dying culture this is important, if sanscrit is dead, there is not Bharat and no hinduism no sanatan, say good bye to hinduism
so, we have to add one more 5th language compulsory in our daily way of life (for Sanatanis) otherwise minus one language from above to add this one and that cant happen unless we minus democracy and secularism. this secularism and democracy is murderer of our great civilization, heritage, sanskriti, identity, hinduism and other sanatan dharmic religions etc. unless and untill democracy is dead then forget about our sanscriti which is almost dead and dying. we should learn this lesson form Bhagvat geeta of do or die, kill or be killed. right now this secularism and democracy has created this situation of do or die.

If all the scientific books are available in mother tongues, then education in mother tongue will be helpful. Those who passed Class XI from Odisha Board before 1984, face lot of problems in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics in Intermediate college classes. Those who tried to get into Engineering or Medicine faced lot of problems.
This is my personal experience. After passing out from IIT and working in a PSU, the communication in Hindi or English was a problem, since the second language in school was Sanskrit.
If all the Science, Engineering, Medical, Mathematics books are written in mother tongue, the society will progress.

It's a must the Government of India should PASS a Resolution in Parliament
Stating every state should give him / her an opportunity besides prioritizing State Language, English & Hindi for Central Government Jobs
The Mother Tongue is deprived in every other state of India specifically for students whose mother tongue may not be the same as the States language
But the Indian Government by subjugating every other INDIAN Languages ONLY promotes a 250 to 300 YEARs old HINDI along WITH English alone
There should be an uprising against the Central Government against this language attrocities
The Indian Constitution clearly specifies FREE SPEECH, but the Indian Government have successfully curbed every other INDIAN states Language which are as ancient as 50,000 years OLD
ALL these languages are being systematically since Independence are being curbed, shamed and criticised by all4 English and Hindi alone

Kindly note Sanskrit language in Devnagri script is the ancient Heritage not only of India and Pakistan but of Iran and Iraq too. One consonant is simply modified 16 times using vowels as sub or super scripts ( matra or dipthlong). Be amazed that J, F, other sounds that are presumed to have evolved much later in 1000 BCE were already being present in 3000 BCE Harappan Sanskrit ; J=ज ; F = फ ; V and W =व ( in Egyptian and English both). All POST HARAPPAN BRAHMI SANSKRIT script(S) including Royal Egyptian, Aramic, Elamite, Phonecian, Greek, Latin Russian etc etc etc (around 400 ) infact seem to be STRUGGLING TO INCORPORATE Modern SANSKRIT (over thousands of years to perfect) sounds that are well documented in Ashokian Brahmi as well as HARAPPAN BRAHMI ROYAL SANSKRIT too (as deciphered by DGHC 2021).
In fact Egyptians of 3000 BCE & later Armainic, Phonecian, Greek derived scripts too seem to copy all HARAPPAN BRAHMI ROYAL SANSKRIT sounds which are similar to modern Devnagri script including K/C =क; Kh=ख G= ग; B= ब; J=ज ; F = फ ; V and W =व ( in Egyptian and English both) as well as all vowels A = अ,आ; E= इ ई; U=उ,ऊ,I= ए,ऐ; O=ओ, औ. Thus even today after modifications from THOUSANDS of years Modern Devnagri & SANSKRIT not only include ALL phonation sounds from any script on earth but as well as BEYOND that are still not incorporated in a given script like English say th=थ, gh= घ, ch=छ, da=ड, dh= ढ, sh= श etc .Thus it is clear that English is seriously deficit in reproducing Sanskrit sounds and still need serious additions as done inpast for many scripts.
Therefore ENGLISH in present unmodified form fails miserably to translate SANSKRIT ( Mattha becomes Math; Brhm of Vedas become Brahma; Brhma the one of three major dieties of Hindu Vedic trinity pantheon becomes Brahma ( This un-intentionally make Brhm and Brhma the 2 essential Hindu Vedic personas as one and same confusing Brahma; !!!SANATAN GONE!!!). I have created a CODE that we must REVISIT writing Sanskrit through ENGLISH by STRICTLY avoiding WRONG sounds of ENGLISH. First major step is always use ENGLISH along with Hindi whenever and wherever SANSKRIT words are explained. Not to add "a" anywhere as SANSKRIT & HINDI are ABUGIDA script ( note English is NOT ABUGIDA) and by definition Sanskrit and Hindi NEED NO addition of "a" thus avoiding Lord Ram turn into RamA; Lord Krushan into KrushnA; Brhm into BrahmA; Brhma turn into BrahmA.
Thus to avoid writing मठ as Math & मंधन as manthana is to 1) use Sanskrit words in brackets and 2) to add "a" if and only if the Sanskrit sound "आ" is required ( because a/अ is inbuilt in all consonants in ABUGIDA). Thus write mth* (मठ); Mnthn* ( मंथन) to enable avoiding all shortcomings of Modern English in representing Sanskrit sounds.

You keep doing the right thing, just let them know their definition of nationalism is only British, not Bharati.., and in time they'll be influenced by your conviction.

I disagree with the speaker's stance on Urdu. It may have lessened over time, but Farsi came into India with the same colonialist mindset that English did - that native tongues were inferior and not worthy enough.
Perhaps it's different in India, but no scholar of Urdu regards the use of Sanskritic/Indic words highly. Most consider them vernacular/village/vulgar vocabulary that has no place in polite circles.

Only in India they’ve used the excuse that we have multiple languages and therefore they will fight each other for supremacy and therefore we cannot do any Indian language ( although like lady says, solution is not one Indian language but ALL Indian languages), so let the foreign language dominate… think of then Bangladesh, why are they also under boot of English? 99.9% of Bangladeshis are Bengalis and only non Bengalis are some marginalized tribal groups in remote areas. Like she says, this is simply a bhram. Main issue is the colonized elite are holding on to English language as a means to ensure APARTHEID. Matribhasha is relegated to language to give directions to servants in, while English is how you socialize and network in upper echelons of society. Basically all black and brown countries have this same issue. All white and yellow countries do not. But we Indians really have no excuse, as a democracy we have the tools at hand to direct public policy but have failed to do so effectively for 70 years.
