I dont mean to be off topic but does anybody know a tool to log back into an instagram account? I somehow lost my password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me!
@Damon Dillon I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Someone finally created a realistic movie out of all those cut scenes and dialog. Great trilogy and great movie. Definitely saving this to watch again later.
The absolute best thing about the universe of Mass Effect... The fact that they launch their ships through space basically using a gargantuan rail gun.
Mass Effect is to sci-fi gaming as the original Star Wars trilogy was to sci-fi movies, there will be many imitators but never any duplicators, it's on a level of it's own that every other game in the genre is held up to as a standard.
Well done indeed, and I have more than 3077 hours of play on the trilogy. And another 1621 hrs in MEA. For those that are into math, that's 384+ 8 hours days of playtime just with the trilogy. Of course, when I start a playthrough I never limited it to 8 hrs, of play at a stretch. There's something to be said for being retired and not into drowning worms and jerking fish lips or following the end of a firearm barrel around in the woods. And of all the games I have plaid a lot. This series is my all-time favorite by far.
DUUUDE!!!! After that cutscene where nilex gets the gun pulled on him, the transition afterwords... you REALLLLLY should have added that gunshot.... I mean SERIOUSLY!!!
Thank you so much for this! It was a complete blast reliving this journey before the remaster. Will watch 2 and 3 as well, thanks again incredible work!
I have several non-gamer sci-fi geeks that'll love this. Hopefully they can get over the janky aspect since it's pulled from a game and not meant to be taken in like a movie and appreciate the lore and world building. Only change I would recommend is more gameplay of firefights to show some action and suspense and explain why characters are moving between locations but considering this is already 2 hrs I guess I can see why you didn't include any. Thanks for uploading this.
This was awesome to watch! Thank you very much for sharing it! I missed only Tali's recruiting mission, Kirrahe's speech at Virmire and some strolling at Citadel foreshadowing the mass relay. The decision to cut out Feros, alongside the Thorian, and the Rachni from Noveria, was spot on. Well done!
If they would actually come out with a Mass Effect movie it blow Star Wars away no doubt. As for the game if you have never played it your missing out on the best game ever made.
would be even better if you had included the optional dialogues with NPC's, since they really help flesh out the lore and make better sense of the story.
I agree with your decision to omit the gameplay and fighting. There are several channels that do this already, and at times, they do it too much. It is refreshing to watch a game movie that focuses on the story, and not the game. Thank You for taking your audience in to account. Another channel that did this well was MoonLight Butterfly with the Dark Souls series. PEACE
Alien creature that'd being vanished about 2000 years ago simply existed and began expansion used the ancient relics that'd being found, suddenly an ambushed from the the unidentifiable alien creature.
I absolutely LOVE the Mass Effect Universe....years ago I was obsessed with it while playing on PC and I beat the game several times just to get everything perfect for the tinal battle with the Reapers, 100%ing everything and doing the final battle was extremely satisfying.
It'd being turned up the spectre just only the rank honoured given by The Counsellor bcoz Commander Shepherd as the first human appointed to be the spectre the defender of the stability of the galaxy.
I found out about this series by the second game. Haven't had the opportunity to play all of them. But honestly one of the best games I've seen. Dragonage is great for a mid evil game but this... a new level
They needed isaac arthur to consult on mass effect andromeda because we need earth to become a true type 1 civilization where it fully colonized our solar system out to the ort cloud
This was great. I like to do a trilogy playthrough every year, but I always hesitate before going through ME1. Love the story, but find the combat and a lot of the other stuff (of ME1) a bit tedious. This, coupled with setting events through the Genesis intro into ME2 is a great alternative. The edits were pretty good for the most part. I realize a lot has to be cut to get it down to 2 hours, and I think they were good choices, mostly. The flow was a bit weird, but that's not your fault, there's only so much you can do with editing. Some things I wish weren't cut, though: -Calling the council and hanging up on them after each mission. It just feels wrong without it! -As another mentioned, it was a crime to cut Kirahe's "Hold the line!" speech!
Is there a better science fiction story than this? Hyperion Cantos? Dune maybe? Kotor? Of all the books, movies, video games and tv series in the history of the world this has to have the best/deepest lore right? This game is just so brilliant...
@gamingvideos Partners: Matt and diemio Michael Good call 👍🏼 Although the film adaption left a lot to be desired. Especially if you compare it to The Fifth Element which is ageless
I wish there was some combat to underline some more of this but it would have to be shot more specific angles and timings and lines that don't exist in the game
Nooooo! Alenko!!!!!!!!!!!! Whyyyyy!!!!!! He was supposed to become your boyfriend!!!! Alenko was my boyfriend in my playthrough, the guy is perfect, I was genuinely in love lolll Now I'm super sad. You saved the wrong person! :P
I cut it down to fit into a movie style cut so was limited to 2ish hours. For Mass Effect 2 that went to almost 3 hours. Was a cool process, made me think of how hard it must have been for the Lord of the Rings movies.
So like...I know you're the cool guy who's been doing those awesome Lego-ify-ing things of video games. And I can read the credits, I can tell this wasn't just you Marty so I don't know how much influence you have here but.... But...Femshep, please? EDIT: Wait, Ashley lived?
I respect the idea but, not entirely a fan of the cheesy credits added to the intro. It stands out in quality difference, and obscures what is already, a pretty neat intro. Not trying to shit-talk, just giving feedback.
I'm not that big of a fan of your continued use of ME2 music. ME1 has great electronic retro sci-fi ambient music, as well as action pieces like Virmire ride, but you replaced all of that with the LoTSB and Overlord soundtrack which is honestly a shame. Edit: Yeah, I wrote this about halfway through, but the LoTSB track is waay too overused, and it doesn't fit at all. And most of the time you have the in-game music turned off! Why?! Only to add these out of place tracks later? Ugh. Not a good choice. Not a good choice at all. I appreciate your efforts here as I'm sure it took a lot of time to make this, but also, I just wanted to say that as a movie, this simply does not work. In the first act, people get jerked around _a lot_ and a bunch of new characters get introduced, and because of that the pacing is horrendous. The second act feels way too short, with Virmire being to only plot world featured prominently and strangely combined with Noveria, and Feros omitted completely. Because of this, the 3rd act feel very rushed, and in itself feels too long with Ilos - where most of it just talking - and the Citadel battle combined. Also, there's a very noticeable lack of action scenes which are all strangely edited out, aside from the cutscenes. They make movies as long as 3 hours nowadays, you could've added a whole extra hour to the runtime, and not leave out as much stuff as you did. Now, I'm sure you did the best you could, but to be brutally honest, making a feature film from a 30 hour game is frankly a futile practice. In order to make Mass Effect's plot work as a movie, some major changes would have to be made to the way the story is told in terms of pacing, structure of the 2nd act, and the characters. All of which I understand is not possible with the given material, but yeah. ^
First; I didn’t capture the footage with the other tracks laid over. A fellow TH-camr did and he kindly allowed me to do a re-edit myself. Second; would better paced scenes, more action and longer length make a better film? Sure, but I didn’t have access to that because it doesn’t exist. In my opinion Noveria and Feros don’t add to the main story in the format of a movie. For me the events of Virmire are the perfect end to act 2(if 3 act structure) as the hero has failed and has lost hope. They then regroup and come together as a crew to travel to ilos, learn the truth and go to the citadel for the final encounter. You can call this a futile exercise, but as an experienced video editor I do things like this for fun and my own enjoyment. I share it here for anyone who is interested.
For a movie, it was too much like a video game. The voice acting (apart from Seth Green) seemed below B-grade movie status. There was too much of a disconnect between the actors, probably due to poor direction. Though the CGI was good (mostly), the movie would have translated better if it were live action. That may be a direction worth considering if ME2 and 3 are made as movies!
If a person has played the game several times in a row and still watches a movie about the same game, the game will probably be very good.
I dont mean to be off topic but does anybody know a tool to log back into an instagram account?

@Luciano Jeremy you are welcome :D
No subtitles and edited to make Shepard’s lines flow naturally with the conversation. Great work.
Someone finally created a realistic movie out of all those cut scenes and dialog. Great trilogy and great movie. Definitely saving this to watch again later.
The absolute best thing about the universe of Mass Effect... The fact that they launch their ships through space basically using a gargantuan rail gun.
Watching this with a friend that's never played any bioware games. We're both loving it, because this is so damn good! Thanks for putting it together!
No problem. Glad you are both enjoying it :D

Too bad that you cut out Kirrahe's "Hold. The. Line!"
This is some professional editing mate! You have my respect. Cheers!
Benezia on vermire. Cringe af.
Yo this is legit good job I love this game an wanted a movie to it an this will do. Deserve more views an likes
Thank you so so much for this. I don't do mods on PC, so I live through all of you guys. I still can't get over how good Garrus' face looks.
24:00 is 100% Mark Meer talking to himself and I love it
Watching this, HOW the fucking hell has nobody made a live action movie of mass effect yet? WE SEE FUCKING HALO ALL THE TIME AND NO MASS EFFECT!!!!
My guy .... you legit jus did the whole foxken movie
DUUUDE!!!! After that cutscene where nilex gets the gun pulled on him, the transition afterwords... you REALLLLLY should have added that gunshot.... I mean SERIOUSLY!!!
I did originally but in the end I preferred to keep the audience in suspense about what happened to Nihlus until Shepard discovers his body.
Ahhh it’s more a movie without showing it
Thank you so much for this! It was a complete blast reliving this journey before the remaster. Will watch 2 and 3 as well, thanks again incredible work!
Hope you stuck around for the end credits sequence
Incredible, it was just like watching a movie. Awesome work mate!
Thinks buddy! Hope you check out Mass Effect 2 too!

Oh man, going to enjoy this for sure!

Thanks! Love the short movie cut without all the fighting scenes!
Glad you enjoyed it. Be sure to check out Mass Effect 2 :)

You are amazing for doing this. What a story playing this franchise was, great editing. Love listening to this anytime!

It would have made more sense if Sheppard died at the end instead of right at the start of the second game.
Aha, moving Benezia to Virmire, eh? Clever.
Helps the pace fit a movie
I wish there was some combat to underline some more of this but it would have to be shot more specific angles and timings and lines that don't exist in the game
Anderson is chosen...
BRILLIANT!!!
I would love to know how you edited this. Cutting out the dialogue wheel and keeping things as smooth as this is couldn't have been easy, or fun
Looks great! Could you do that with Witcher 2 as well?
This very cool the only thing better would be live action
cool awesome
Good movie.
Great editing. Is it just me or is the video speed a tiny bit faster than normal? I played this yesterday and it feels faster.
Thanks. Shouldn’t be. Maybe an issue with YT?
Before I start watching. What CLASS does the player pick for Shepherd?
1:48:03 Creep smile alert!
When did Tali come into ship
Was looking for someone who had done this, it might be the only way i get my mom to appreciate the story. Is number 3 still in the works?
Can you make legendary edtion
Is Liara’s face…different? Is it just me?
wątek NOVERIA I FAROS!
So if you select the option to remove duologue choices in the game menu, are they randomised responses or are they set?
I see you cut out Noveris and ferros and Feros doesn’t matter but noveria Is
This version is too short. Missing so much good stuff.
I cut it down to fit into a movie style cut so was limited to 2ish hours. For Mass Effect 2 that went to almost 3 hours. Was a cool process, made me think of how hard it must have been for the Lord of the Rings movies.
Are the massa effect homeworlds comics canon
This "remastered" version is from PC? A mod or it's legit? I only got the PS3 version, this looks so much better!
It's PC. There's alot of mods for updated textures out there.
Why suddenly from virmire to Noveria? Timeline is not correct...
This is good but cuts out a lot of meaningful moments
Do the textures actually load in the remaster?
1:26:21 to 1:27:36
♥♥♥
Thanks buddy!
Why do they have sound in space? Why do space ships bank in flight in space? There's no air for any of that.

Then write your own story with your OWN ORIGINAL characters. Do not bastardize this story line! Get a fan fiction account and knock yourself out!
So he went with the racist chick and not Kaidan? Not loving that.
Why would he go with the dude over who turns into a hot chick in the third one? I save her every damn time.

Yes :)

To be fair it came out in 2007. Considering that these visuals are actually really impressive.
