The larger blade represents his hollow and shinigami powers as isshin fused them together when kisuke helped him enter misaki to stabilise white. Hence why the inner hollow is his actual zanpaktuo spirit and ‘zangetsu’ his Quincy (small sword) which is the younger version of yhwach
I've come to understand this over time but I believe ichigo's true power is hollowification.
Remember when ichigo first entered his bankai state and started hollowifying? It was not just speed he gained.
And did you not find it strange his dad could use getsuga tensho which is made up of fire? No two zanpaktou can have the same power. It must be a kido technique that he inherited from his father but not actually part of his zanpaktou powers. The horn of salvation is literally his bankai form where he fully transforms into a hollow and it was foreshadowed so many times.
So that means Zangetsus true ability is to turn ichigo into a hollow.
And also I don't think Final Getsuga Tenshou is his shinigami power.
If it was he would have had the hollow mask and a hole. I think it's his Quincy power unleashed. I believe it's Letz Stile. Quincys Final Form. Look at Uruys Letz Stil and compare it to Ichigo.
That would make sense since the source of his concious power was Old Man Zangetsu at that time. The young Zangetsu literally absorbed white.
And just like Uruy, Ichigo loses his powers.

@@shueibdahirthat could be right in the end, but then how did Isshin know what it was and tell Ichigo that his Engustsu refused to teach it to him? IMO, it’s closer to an inherited imperfect shukai that instead of never getting to use your shukai again you lose your shinigami powers.
It’s hard for me to believe Vasto Lorde isn’t the strongest form. The amount of destruction is unmatched. Final Getsuga makes sense but there’s no way Ichigo in VL form doesn’t wreck the universe.
Well ichigo horn of salvation has Vasto Lorde in it making that form the strongest. You saw the video Ichigo used an attack that combined both getsuga tensho and the cero which he used as vasto lorde
And wreck the universe? People like Yhwach, Aizen and Ichibe exists
@@gxdflashx4718 outside of VL swinging his blade once and destroying a quarter of Hueco Mundo, Yamamoto’s Bankai drying out SS, Kenny’s spiritual pressure and Gremmy’s imagination/Ichibe’s brush materializing I’ve never seen scalable power that alters the environment.
For the brief moment VL was fighting he seemed unstoppable by any of these other characters.

Absolutely not, there are many things wrong in this video:
-To be 100% acurate, Ichigo's "Vasto Lorde" form is actually his ressurection (cf Tosen vs Komamura & Hisagi)
-It's theory real so I don't blame him for that one, but Dangai and final Getsuga are probably linked to Quincy Letzt Stil (what Uryu used in soul society arc, similarities are undenyable, especially when you know Ichigo has quincy powers)
-Fullbring Getsuga Tenso is explicitly nowhere near the level of an "actual" Getsuga Tensho
-Nothing about fullbring enhanced shikai and bankai, which are explicitly stronger than his former shikai and bankai (in theory real the actual power is, he's basically his hollow mask boost permanently, that's why never uses hollow mask in that form)
-It's not shinigami rebuild form, but true shikai
-The big sword reprensent white Zangetsu, Ichigo's shinigami and hollow powers, while the small one reprensent old man Zangetsu, his quincy powers (hence why one is smaller than the other, and why he has 2 swords)
-It's true bankai, not bankai rebuild
-for some reason he stops going by chronological order at this point and talks about true bankai before horn of salvation (the new hollow form)
-Horn of Salvation isn't a form Ichigo archived by fusing all his forms, nor is it a form he can use because his power are balanced. It's quite litterally the opposite: because his power have balanced only recently, he's not able to use the full extend of each side, so he tips the balance in favor of his hollow side to draw out more power from that side.
-There's been a lot of col stuff surouding Ichigo's true shikai and bankai revealed by Kubo smewhat recently during some q&a I won't bother to explain to avoid making this comment any longer than it actually is, but It'd have been nice to mention it.
In the end, this video feels like it was done from memory with no research at all...

@@xegin1572 id make the argument that since resurrections are hollow specific, since it’s literally an arrancar’s bankai equivalent, that VL is a mix between form and resurrection
the dangai mugetsu letzt stil theory to me doesn’t make sense. isshin was the one who told ichigo how to unlock it, isshin not being of quincy descent yet knowing about it would imply that it’s more shinigami technique, but i can kinda understand it being a letzt stil
i’m kinda confused as to why you’d say that a FB getsuga tenshou is nowhere near an actual getsuga. what form are you comparing it to? why wouldn’t it be considered the same level or at least similar, also where does it say this?
the fullbring training may have helped in strengthening shikai and bankai, but comparing FB shikai and bankai to FKT shikai and bankai, he seems a hell of a lot stronger

It doesn’t matter that he was suppressed he was going to die, of course I’d he wasn’t suppressed he would’ve won but that is irrelevant cause he still lost the fight in that state and was gonna die.

Please note that in ichigo's vasto lorde form, all that's left of his shihakusho(his outfit) is the arm
Shihakusho are tied to a soul reaper's remaining power and his was almost completely gone, so at the time he was using that form, he was only using a small portion of his full power of the hollow alone, not including his soul reaper and quincy powers
His hollow and Shinigami powers are one and the same, get educated. Also his Shihakusho level doesn't affect Zangetsu's power as Zangetsu himself has his power separately which Ichigo only used a fragment of at that time. Zangetsu was at full power against Ulquiorra but he toyed with him still

His bankai at the time was purely hollow, as he didn't even have an asauchi to form into a zanpakto, which is why his getsugatensho became black after he stopped using rukia's soul reaper powers, after he stopped using her powers, everything he did was purely hollow powers, while his soul reaper powers, despite being the majority of his power, stayed latent
You don't have to be passive aggressive about it, but you need to get educated as well
Rukia wasn't punished for staying too long in the human world, but for giving her powers to a human
which is very weird if you put it into context, there is no way in hell the commander wouldn't sense that he wasn't a human, but a mix of all the great powers combined.

10:40 actually the source of Ichigo's Shinigami powers is Aizen experiment, a Hollow created from Shinigami's reishi (or smth like that), who battled with Isshin. That's why Ichigo's Zanpakuto is a Hollow

@@HappyDayZ0 it seems that in Soul Society blood relations has nothing to do with Zanpakuto powers, not like every family has it's own common Zanpakuto style, so it's quite unusual for a child to have Zanpakuto which copies his fathers' sword, and Ichigo is a rare case just cause Hollow which became his Zanpakuto in the end, battled with Isshin and took part of his reiatsu as a sample, that's why he developed the same powers
It is said that Hollow had the power to absorb reiatsu, so it's a common sense that he has quite the same powers as Isshin's Eigetsu

also white was from souls of shinigami, not reiatsu
and he inherited his shinigami powers from his dad, not the specific techniques, although there is a theory that since white was attacked with a getsuga by isshin in that one scene where they’re “inside” masaki, that technique imprinted on white, passing it down to ichigo

I think ichigo doesn't really use his bankai of his own because I wasn't really his true bankai because it's so powerful and a threat to yhwach even declaring him to be candidate for the next soul king so the main villain on last chapter before ichigo born i think he already sealed of ichigo's true bankai because it was so threat to the world so yeah

Pretty sure someone looked at the wrong source about Ichigo's two shikai blades. Ichigo's Shinigami and Hollow powers are inextricably fused, with White Ichigo representing both and making up one blade. Old Man Zangetsu represents Ichigo's Quincy powers, which makes up the second blade.
When Ichigo went Vastolorde he did DIE just like white Ichigo said “when you die I will take over your body”

I think a form not covered by the video is the hell armour form shown only in the movie Hell Verse. Given that the latest one-shot mange expores hell in bleach, I think the hell armour may be officially introduced into Bleach if the hell chapters are expanded in manga.

he gets his original zangetsu back when he kills yhwach, it's weird because he's in bankai state but using his shikai blade
it's an incomplete bankai at the moment because yhwach drained ichigo's reiryoku that's why the outer layer of the blade broke to reveal that he's using his shinigami power only at that time, but still one shotted yhwach w/out the use of horn of salvation also, lol ichigo kinda over powered.
@@ryanantazo4246 some theory online suggests that because yhwach intercepted ichigo's broken tensa zangetsu with his right hand, good ol' zangetsu was able to appear. The right hand being significant for mimihagi representing stillness and rejecting progress. They go on to claim that mimihagi activated in that moment of interception, which allowed for the original zangetsu to appear from the broken tensa zangetsu, and yhwach gets sliced in half by ichigo. Returning to the original zangetsu would be a regression that fits the narrative of mimihagi's power. As the Almighty can't forsee any events involving mimihagi, it would also explain why yhwach saw the original zangetsu in his dreams but didn't know exactly how it came to actually materialize until the lead up to his death. Thus that dream seemed to be just an illusion from yhwach's perspective prior to his death.
kubo answered this on his fan page or something. he explained that ichigo unlocking true bankai also unlocked the scabbard to his zanpakuto, the zanpakuto being up made of the zanpakuto and the scabbard. the panel we see of the original zangetsu being revealed is actually the scabbard breaking away, showing the true bankai underneath

I believe that his true bankai is Vasto lorde ichigo, but that ichigo is fully aware of his actions
vasto lord ichigo is only the hollow part of his soul is only a fraction o it, the other parts being Quincy fullbring and so forth so ichigos true bankai technically makes sense to be horn of salvation, since he uses every aspect of his soul into his physical body and his zanpakuto.
I think if Ichigo activates his true bankai he could theoretically spam mugetsu with no draw backs and still keeps his powers since u know he mastered his sword and knows his history now
I dont know if you watched the same thing as i did but he uses his soul as a catalyst to combine all his spiritual pressure compress it down to one point and fire it out.

It’s not that ichigos spiritual pressure was so strong Aizen couldn’t sense it, he traded all of his spiritual pressure and turned it into physical strength, making it so that’s why he couldn’t sense it, since the final getusga tensho is to become “Getsuga itself”

becouse quincy do not usually have a "form" is more like a race. sternritters have forms after the base quincy state, but that's another story,it's more something like the epsadas and arrancars for the hollows. his base form is his "quincy" form or at least partially

quincy form is not a form, its a race. the only form quincies have is vollstandig, which can be only obtained with yhwach's blood. It wouldn't have changed much since vollstandig is the same as shinigami's bankai
