- Some of the finest museums in the world can be found in a few square miles of London. We head down to check out a couple of them, the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum.
The longer the day went on, the less in depth our exploration became.
Oh, but obviously first up there's a parkrun on the banks of a Victorian canal.
A huge thank you to everyone who's supported our wee channel so far, if you'd like to help support our wee adventures you can do it through through our Ko-Fi or Patreon.
All our videos are hand made from 100% organic ingredients ;). Our content is mostly filmed on a GoPro 11 with a Rode fluffy microphone to keep the wind noise down, with occasional bits on an iPhone13. We also use a DJI Mini 3 drone which we're loving getting to grips with.
We make our own music using GarageBand and the videos are edited in iMovie.
If you'd like to buy DeNiro a biscuit (and he's a good boy, honest) you can via our Ko-Fi link at www.ko-fi.com/ScotlandOnAShoes....
If you'd like to become a patron of our wee channel we also have a patreon at / scotlandonashoestring
We also have an Etsy shop where we sell some of our hand made items. It's at dandbbythesea.etsy.com
The duck looking birds under the bridge were Egyption Geese. I really enjoyed this adventure around London thank you for taking us with you and bex. I hope you and yours have a great week.
Ahh, thank you!!
Nice 'boots on the ground' view of London, we viewers can tell you folks really love the place. Good thing the Natural Museum was not crowded on your visit day!
Yeah, its a great place for a relaxing weekend :)
In Canada we call Canada Geese, Cobra Chickens...and we never turn our backs on them. Those things can go feral in two seconds flat.
Hahaha. Cobra chickens!!
Another awesome adventure! Hmmm…I thought I saw some eyes looking out those holes in that tomb door 👀 (joking). I think I saw my great grandfather’s pocket watch 😉 OMG! Love the museum…. Love the planes! Oh boy, LEGOs!!! All I can say is WOW, those fossils! Thanks for sharing your adventures with us…
You're welcome. One day we'll pole a camera into a hole in a tomb and see something that makes us wish we hadn't. In London it was mostly dog poo bags.
3:52 The winch points on The Ragged School may have offered a more efficient way to move supplies into the school. Probably had storage/pantrys on that level as well. Pre-lift tech☺️
Ahh, could be. It’s an interesting g looking building.
Thank you for sharing your adventures
If you are down that way again, the RAF museum at Hendon is a good day out, but Bex might not agree 😂
I love Hendon, but yeah not sure Bex would appreciate it as much :)
Told you you'd enjoy the Science Museum!!
Years ago, we went to one their late night events. We ended up at a silent disco in the computing history display!
Museum of Zoology in Cambridge has some Dodo skeletons!
I thought the only bits in the UK were at Oxford? Or I thought I thought that :)
@@scotlandonashoestring I'll go back our Cambridge video and check...
I think the last time I visited the science museum was on a school trip!
Ah London, I do miss it....the Science Museum was always my favourite - like you I always skipped the medical bit, planes are way more interesting lol
Who was looking after de Niro?
He was with Bex's lad when we were running, and in Daisy when we went into town.
10:40 Ada Lovelace.. potatah?
Kelvin grove museum is good too👍 but it’s in Glasgow😜
Love Kelvingrove!!
