      I appreciate the effort you have made. Couple of pointers if you wouldn't mind indulging me;
      - The volume is generally low on all the videos you guys post. I wouldn't know the exact reason behind it, could be the distance of the mike from source or the mike that you guys are using. If you wanted to use another type of mike and check the difference, it might help.
      - The sound echo in this video is quite bad, and it is generally decent in one person videos that you guys post. Maybe try using the same studio or the same setup for discussion pieces too.
      - Love the detailed analysis of things you guys do. If possible, link the sources you mention in the description.
Really great source of information you guys have. Please keep up the good work. 😊

India is an anarchy where people vote every 5 years to choose who will be at the top to be the lesser evil at the center, state and local government. This is the reason both local and overseas businesses don't invest to the extent that a country of India's potential deserves. It should be characterized as an anarchy because the simplest business dispute - say a bounced cheque, violating the terms of a contract takes years to resolve. The law and order and justice system is so utterly broken. We cannot take care of such routine stuff like China, because we are supposedly a democracy, and we cannot resolve them like Europe/South Korea/Taiwan/Japan, because in reality India is an Anarchy. And the problems have to be solved at the State and Municipal level, so there's no quick fix solution that any government at the center can apply. The political class, the bureaucracy, the law and order mafia, and the established business class benefit from this anarchy, so there's no incentive to change. The voting public is not demanding such changes either. The Punjabis/Sikhs are smart, they are voting with their feet to leave for Canada or wherever else it makes sense to

Around 90% of things in supermarkets and home depots in other countries are manufactured in China. They have six times the GDP of India. It is too audacious of us to say India will become the manufacturing hub," he stated. Education is primarily a state subject. Have you met your MLA and asked how much he spends on education within his constituency? Do you even know that data? Misplaced activism?

Spending is not the issue in Education. Just throwing money at the problem doesn't solve it. System is the issue. Examinations and continuous evaluation of outcomes, teacher quality, research and development in academia. Moreover, state Govts have to step up.

The format makes CTC a bit non coherent sometimes, particularly when topics are jumped horizontally, the beauty of CTC is its 'one at a time' vertical depth closure on topics. Just a point to consider

Extremely beautiful and insightful discussions, audio needs a bit of attention and video grab changes too frequently. Sitting in different time zones, it’s so healthy to listen out to you guys. The Print is really becoming a major mark in news analysis.

    Yes, I do like.
But how it is that i can hear Shekhar so clearly but not so DK. Indeed, I like DK's most presentations, his probing analysis, his insight but sometimes regret missing out a few important points that he makes. Today, his voice was echoing on occasions- dont know if it appears to me ONLY because of my advancing age. I didn't find Shekhar's voice echoing but.
    Overall, I love "The Print".

Sinister campaign by DK to malign Mrs Nirmala Sitaraman
Madam didn’t defend Adanis or Ambanis. she merely spoke about Adanis being given by a port to manage (by Congress state government).
DK’s propensity to subtly run down NDA is despicable

Chinese investment should not be treated as a pariah. India has suffered significantly in the past by adopting an anti-American stance for an extended period. Although we have disputes with China, we cannot ignore that it is the second-largest economy and significantly larger than India’s economy. The Chinese have mastered manufacturing, a skill we still need to develop. The U.S. policy of “China plus one” and India’s openness to Chinese manufacturing and investment are crucial to overcoming the manufacturing challenges we face.
One positive aspect of this budget is the government’s acknowledgment of our need for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), employment opportunities for our youth, and investment in manufacturing from both China and the U.S. Recognizing and diagnosing our problems is the first step toward resolving them. We are on the right track this time.

Indian private sector is still to get out of the conservative socialist hangover inspite of the government giving all assurances I think. With the turncoat opposition pilloring the government on all issues that itself had rejected and supporting all kinds of agitations and protests (farmers, CAA, etc) and playing caste politics, it is scared.

    Hi sir,
Thank you for the episode. Its been a long time since I commented, but please be rest assured that I watch every edition of CTC. Below is my feedback -
Firstly, your team needs to work on the mike. Your mike was just acceptable, but DK sir's was not.
Secondly, seeing that we are getting a good parliamentary session after so long, I would like something more than a quick summary of the points made by both sides. So, you both telling us about the subtle changes in the approach of the government towards various issues is a good step in that direction. I would like you to go a couple of steps further. Make it point by point. Tell us that this is what the opposition said. In response, this is what the government replied. Now, comes the most important part. Then, tell us what your opinion is with regards to both the points. I know in CTC you do not state you opinion and stick to facts, but as you are so point out, numbers can lie (absolutes vs percentages) and often do not tell the whole story. Tell us how valid the points made by both the sides were and where either side might not have told us the whole story or tried to misconstrue the facts. If there is no clear winner on that point or if the problem/solution is way too complex to be discussed in just an hour or so, admit and state so.
I personally hate it when I would see on tv that a politician would state a fact and then another one would say that that is a complete lie and the real figures were these. I would always wonder if it should not have been the anchor's job to step in and tell us, the viewers, what the real story was and which politician was telling the truth.
    Regards,

Shekhar ji, this format is fine occasionally. But why are you missing in action in Headlines ke peechhe...?
DK is doing well but he is like Gautam Gambhir, who will only bat on political turf and can win man of the match in that too.
On the other hand Shekhar Gupta ji is like Kapil Dev, the Allrounder who will take questions on Politics, International affairs, defence, music, cricket, etc.
But the most important is the old time stories and mention of Hariyana, ur NE days stories, Saddam, AF-PAK stories ,etc.
