The heilige גמרא itself wants (demands!) Reb Eli to make jokes! Reb Eli says @24:19 "chopping out all stories & jokes" - and the helige גמרא instantly - in the SAME breath - screams "אדרבה" !
The Queen of England still rides a horse sideways on. I went to the seaside last week...as a child I used to love donkey rides.I walked across the sand...but unfortunately I was not allowed on a donkey...only for children...I was most upset. Maybe there is a market for adult donkey riding❤
@@katsyz The wife of the king of England. But I don't think it's the same. Modern sidesaddles are constructed so that the rider is facing forward and to allow one to control the horse or donkey. But the ones in the time of the gemara were completely sideways, so the woman couldn't easily see in front of her and control the reins. Normally, someone else walked in front to lead the donkey, which is why she was considered a load, not a rider. So I would think that the queen's saddle would come with the donkey.
Reb Eli, you never let us down your such an inspiration
