Here I’m sharing my insights on condo living and what I wish I had known before purchasing my very first condo property. Prior to owning, I had 7 years of experience living in condos - thought I’d seen it all, but moving into and furnishing my own property brought a whole new set of learnings and discoveries. 💙
If you are looking into getting a condo unit, most likely you’ve already considered the major factors such as budget, location, unit size, amenities, etc. But for this video, I want to focus on the 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 that can easily slip our minds, details that are often forgotten or dismissed, but can make a world of difference in the day-to-day life of a condo owner.

Another thing to consider is the availability of Internet Service Providers since some condos only allow their own ISP and some allow only 1 telco.

Kaya nga ba we don’t buy any properties even if afford kasi we don’t want the hassle. If pangit admin and neighbors, lipat agad. Deal-breaker sa akin kapag walang fiber internet, service elevators, and garbage chutes each floor 😅 Most importantly water pressure and kung may sariling tangke ang condo. Hirap mawalan ng tubig kasi

Pwede na bang magpainstall ng residential internet fiber plans sa mga condo units? or hassle parin to and prepaid wifi lang inaallow?

Thanks for this. Own mistake ko is just considering the cheapest that I can afford. Low cost properties, mejo magulo yung community. Pag may problem, puro pakikisama ang sagot. Maingay yung kapitbahay? Laging makisama ka na lang ang sagot 😢
Dibaaa? Yun talaga yung downside if super mura nung bibilihin. Unfortunately, we can’t control our neighbors. Sa selection process nalang natin mafifilter out yung bad ones :)
Helpful tips and advices! How I wished, you could have mentioned about the electric voltage in every condo’s to be dual. If you’re living in the US (110V) most likely you will be bringing small electric appliances and won’t work there (220V) You don’t want to be buying so many transformers on all areas needed. Just saying. 🇵🇭🇺🇸
Hi! Yes, it’s generally 220v in the PH, including appliances sold locally. :) if you’re moving, i suggest to just purchase the appliances here.
Hi Thea, thanks for the response. Will they allow you as a unit owner to “wire a 220V” in your condo if let’s say you want to bring home some 110V small appliances from the US?

I dont know, i've known thea since yesteryears... and this channel has become a full blown advertisement for property companies and other financial companies... i know ads and sponsorship generates revenues. But i feel like this is a hardsell.

This is my work po eh, so I need to partner with brands talaga to keep the channel sustainable. This topic for example, I had a content plan na for this even before RLC reached out to me. So pinolish ko nalang siya to seamlessly integrate the brand. Same with all other branded content-most of the time, may outline na ako for the content and I just find the right partner to execute it.
Actually for this one, hindi ito yung suggested topic ng brand, but I pitched this knowing na it’s a topic I know could help a lot of people who are looking into buying their first property. I understand the frustration, that’s the usual sentiment naman talaga when a post is sponsored. But i do also hope for your kind consideration and understanding as this is part of my work. Rest assured na i only partner with brands I can vouch for - in fact I have declined several (as in marami talaga more than 10 na) brand sponsorships offered by real estate companies kasi hindi ako confident sa projects/developments nila, and it’s not something i’d be comfortable to recommend to my viewers.
