- We have been going through the process of building our home. It has been a journey. Working with Ryan Home came with its up and downs. The UPs out-weight the downs; however, the DOWNs are/were pretty frustrating. It became difficult at times to communicate with the Project Manager on key issues we had. It was difficult to get someone to help with fixing issues, and communicating when said issues would be remediated.
All in All ---- we love our new home. There isn't anywhere else we would rather be. Ryan Homes Columbia model fits our home of 4 perfectly. To include our Goldendoodle.

Appreciate the walk through sir: Getting a house built myself with Ryan in VA: I see you indicated difficulties with your build: Not trying to be nosey or anything but what were/are your Biggest issues during the build? (Just so I know what to look out for with Ryan! ) Also how fast was the build(I ask because I'm converting from an apt with a lease...UGH lol): Any info you have is appreciated. Awesome looking house! Congrats especially if your issues were addressed! : )

SO true they are super fast!! We just built our Ryan Homes too - we did the Corsica model! Sorry to hear you guys didn't get your yard in yet. They were able to put ours in thankfully after it snowed here in MD. Subscribing to your channel! We shared our process on our channel too if you want to check it out.
How long did your build take we are building with Ryan now we are building a Seneca in NC
@@kellytucker958 congratulations! It definitely depends on your community and where you are basically in line for construction. We signed our contract around the end of May of 2020. We had a few back and forth issues so they bumped us in line and didn’t break ground until September and then we closed in January! The holidays and weather definitely played a bit of a role. But overall under 6 months from the moment they broke ground I thought was good!!
@@ChristineBentonFitness thank you so much I am assuming we will be 6 months as well we signed our contract on 7/13 our delivery date is for no later than 2/2022 I know there were only 4 homesites left and we purchased one and all the other sold after us. We are in the silent period right now. I can not wait for it to be started and finished.
@@kellytucker958 Hello Kelly we are looking to go with Ryan home here in Delaware. We plan on signing contract this Thursday. Did you go with the buidler Lender, did you feel hadncuffed to their lender based on incentives and things they offered. I'm so nervous about this entire process.

The elevation makes it appear as the Hudson, but inside it’s not the Hudson, per the staircase & dining area.
