Installing a ZZP Intercooler In The Cruze

In this video we install a ZZP intercooler in a 2012 Chevorlet Cruze. Daniella changes her oil and were even met by a huge critter before completing the installation. Check out the shenanigans, and fun we have in the process. We even talk a little trash on Mortske Repair. lol

Appreciate the video, very helpful to see the process. Any follow-up on how this has worked out, anything noticeable?
TMI but my stock Cruze has this strange subtle hesitation where it feels like the power falls flat momentarily at several points during acceleration. Another video indicated that it could be the flimsy intercooler tube collapsing under vacuum (from what I understand). Thus here I'm now looking at the intercooler instead of just replacing the hose.
Did you ever notice this symptom with your car?

So far no problems with it collapsing, but you must make sure the clamps are really tight. We’ve had a down pipe pop off. Since we retightened it it’s been fine..

Cant see it very well but it looks like it would block changing the oil filter. Does it interfere?

Yeah you might have to disconnect the one clamp to access the oil filter cap.
