    So I’ve had mine bypassed without issue other than smoke coming when sitting at idle. I blew my stock exhaust manifold drivers side and went ahead and upgraded to bd diesel, replaced turbo oil/coolant line, deleted ccv, and upgraded cold/hot pipes. This all after dpf/egr delete 40k with h&s minimaxx. LOVE the 6.7(other than hard to work in anything). BFG KO2’s 275/65/20 grab good and last 80k+ highway miles ;)

    I totally agree I did mine into exhaust and it runs cleaner turbo spool sounds better and a little better boost

    If there is no oil that exits the hose, then why not attach the other end of the hose into the intake plug to allow the fumes to be combusted and allow the Turbo to put a negative pressure on the CCV?

      You mean like how a ccv system is supposed to work?

    • @DodgerthaRoger
      @DodgerthaRoger 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because it is only venting positive pressure. If you connected the other end(like it is factory) it would literally suck the hose. Intake side is under vacuum 99% of the time.

    • @jimvandehey
      @jimvandehey 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@DodgerthaRoger That is why it doesn't leak. Guys think that because it collects in the ccv that it will leak oil when it doesn't have a place to go. If there is nothing creating the back pressure which causes the vacuum then no problem. It was the same way on my other diesels. 80k miles on my delete for ccv and emissions.

    • @DodgerthaRoger
      @DodgerthaRoger 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@jimvandehey Yep! I installed the same CCV bypass on my 18 F250. I get a tiny amount of oil from my bypass hose if I have been hauling a heavy load in hot temperatures. Occasionally I see the vapors if the ambient temp/humidity/engine oil temp planets line up perfectly. 🤣

  • @timothydare6007

    Not sure how yours is so dry. Mine does leak a little oil. If vapor can get through it oil will to. And I can definitely smell the vapors as well. I like the mod. I feel that a lot of pressure has been relieved of the motor. But after my last 3000 mile road trip. She definitely leaked some oil for sure. Funny thing is I thought my oil level would be really low as well after this. But I checked oil and it was good. Not even a half QT low. I’m changing oil this week along with fuel filters.

I will not plug the other company's name however it works great on my Mustang I also have a 2019 super duty with the 6.7 l diesel spe should rethink their product if they want me to buy it.

    Its all good until the EPA finds out. But yes these devices work, have been for years.....nothing new here. But federal law mandates these gases to be re burned into the combustion chamber. Its all part of the "clean air act of 1970". (And in case you may wonder why are these for sale then? They are intended for race/off-road use only.) I support this mod., and I hope no one gets caught too
