Played chain burn during the WCS. One opponent played Branded and spammed the board with 6 monsters, he had to banish his own monster with Mirrorjade to not die during his draw phase, lmao.
I've tried every build with this deck. Fairy Wind is an interesting tech I must say. I play Ghost Mourner, because it has great synergy with Ring, especially against Horus. Unfortunately, I don't see many Snake-Eyes anymore (at least in plat-diamond).
Platinum rank is full of all kinds of weird stuff. It's funny, with this deck I find it easier to get wins as I get to higher ranks. I was teching Ghost Mourner for a while but I took it out as I wasn't getting much value from it.

I haven't tried it, I guess it's great if you want an option to get damage in through battle but I prefer to use the spots for more burn cards. Which is why I took out Lord of Heavenly Prison
Why can’t I activate my set trap cards in my opponents draw phase nor chain them to each other. Is there a new restriction that I don’t know about? My rank is master tier 5
@ignaskondrotas6776 You can only activate chain strike if the current chain is made of unique cards. You can use a second chain strike because its not in the chain until after you've activated it. If you want to activate a second Ceasefire in the chain then it needs to be after you activate Chain Strike.
@@OvercastYGO ok so lets say 1 trap 2 trap 3 trap then chain then another trap and chain again? Is it worth it or better go for double chain at the end?
@Ecool27 Yeah it's anti meta so it's designed to beat specific match ups. This was really good against Snake Eye and Kashtira as they didn't account for backrow very well
While nowhere near as good a payoff as the other draw cards, what about swapping Prosperity for a Jar of Greed? Still gets you a card, with no deck info leaking.
Too slow for modern Yugioh. You won't be able to play the card you draw until next turn as you'll probably be dead. Could maaaaaaybe consider Reckless Greed as you go +1 but still a high chance of dying.
@OvercastYGO I think that 3k is just too useful to pass up and for anyone who's reached diamond or higher will be able to tell which extra deck mechanic your opponent is playing the most. If you give yourself all links, you're already immune, so you're gambling 0 of your life points
@@ghostwithknife416 It only protects from destruction. It doesn't protect from a lot of the other removal in the format. I also found I was bricking on it too often.
sometimes drawing rollback or two copies of the hard once per turn hurts, what about dark world dealings? just like one day of piece, no one is going to negate a free draw, and helps you unbreak. @OvercastYGO

Chain burn is a gentleman's deck.

why is chain strike UR!? that is such a random rarity to give it.
I have no idea, I think its limited to one copy in the TCG so I am guessing Chain Burn has had some competitive history

You only hit a wall if your opponent doesn't care about the extradeck like you or if they just don't have one, which is too rare in most cases

They are strong in BO1 if the opponent isn't prepared for it.

Problem with Dark World Dealings is that you basically go minus 1, not ideal for this deck
