Dang Benjy, it seems so stupid yet ingenious. I'm going to try this. I did the same thing sorta with rags but they didn't quite work the same. Another bonus is if the gun grenades on you the fluid will be contained...sort of.
Does the ziplock bag make your hand sweaty? I think the idea is absolutely genius but every time I show it to a seasoned spray foamer who has been spraying for a while, they usually say something like, “that’s going to turn your hand into a sweaty swamp” or “that’s like wearing a latex glove while your spraying”. I’m tired of the cocky foamers answers and I’m just going to try it for myself today.
@@nicholasbohannan1673 not if you’re wearing gloves. You should always be wearing proper gloves while you’re spraying. And you should wear the proper gloves too. For this I’d recommend a glove that will absorb any sweat from your hands whether you’re using a bag over the gun or not. I use the rubber coated gloves from Home Depot. I get them in a 10 pack. Great gloves for spraying. Some people just don’t like new things though. I like to keep my guns clean as best as possible myself.
This is a great idea. I work with epoxy and its a mess. Those guns aren't cheap. Thanks for the video!
