Remembering The Tragedy: Halifax Explosion Memorial Monument

In 1917 a disaster struck Halifax as two ships, one of them carrying high explosives, collided in the basin. The Halifax Explosion Memorial Monument was made to commemorate the 2.000 people that died in the blast.
