    I don't own a bounty hunter but you made it seem so easy to use. I will consider this one on my next purchase.

      Ack! Sorry for the delay in response, I just saw your comment on the YT studio app! Yes I am really happy with that metal detector and yes it is pretty easy. The customer service is awesome too!

    Great review. You should do an update review. How long you had it, and estimated use of the detector. Even if you found mostly junk which is a thing in the md world. Also the other gear. Also tell stories like reaction from people, and stuff.
    That's a nice detector though. First Texas: Bounty Hunter, Fisher Labs, and Teknetics. The Fisher F11/22/44, and F75 are nice. Being around the wet salt a Minelab Vanquish would be a budget pick.

      @sweetbeep  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow I'm so sorry for the delay in response! Somehow I missed some comments and saw this now. I don't do much detecting these days, partly because I don't have my detector with me.
      I have videos on my sand scoop, Garret pro pointer AT pinpointer, White's digger. 😁

      @@sweetbeep No problem.
      From what I remember you are more of a review channel of certain products rather than a metal detecting one. May you be inspired to get back in the hobby.
      Take care.

    Do you find that the pinpointer is a little off with depth sometimes?
    I found that mine shows 3 inches down but sometimes it's like 8 or 9 inches down.
    Or mine will pinpoint one area, I'll dig and I'll be off left right, back or forward by 3 or more inches. So I have to keep retargeting and digging new spots.
    Is it just me doing something wrong?

    • @sweetbeep
      @sweetbeep  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm, are you talking about the "PP" button? I never really used that button too much I don't think because I tend to just use the handheld pinpointer (Garrett propointer AT) to narrow the target after my metal detector picks up a location.
      I have called the Bounty Hunter company a couple times and they have been very helpful... Maybe you could call and ask them and see if there is anything that can be done...
      Sorry I couldn't help!

    • @bleirdo_dude
      @bleirdo_dude 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I imagine you're talking about the PP feature on the detector it's self. Reread the owner's manual for pinpointing, and detuning.
      Keep in mind tilted surface areas (coins on edge for example) will push the signal to the side. Also an aluminum can at 12 inchhes can sound like a quarter less than 6 inches.

    Thanks for sharing 🍸 I own one too. Love it. Found some Morgan silver dollars and walking ladies with it.....very far and few between tho...but works mint. We Have a Goldbug2 for gold only as well but hardly use it eventhoughwe live in Nevada. (Gb2 sucks for coins ,only good for small gold Close to the surface,has no real depth. )

      @@sweetbeep I'm prolly not in good area's for metal detection.im more into coins and relics anyway., I have only been out gold hunting a handful of times. Ya it's like a sluice box. You earned it and I'm happy you don't mind questions. I took my Quick Draw to the river after watching your video feeling confident, that was my first mistake! First time using one and all I got was a consistent racket with every tone a person could imagine. The scale was all over the place, I tried to separate the high tones and dig them and found nothing. My pin pointer seemed to send the detector into overtime even when it wasn't close to it. Any suggestions? It was sand, fresh water and the top few inches was dry.

    • @sweetbeep
      @sweetbeep  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jeff Womack ....hmm. what was your sensitivity level on? I usually keep mine at 7. also. there can be EMI .. electromagnetic interference from phone lines and stuff around ...and can be different at different times. also...what batteries are you using? they need to be the regular alkaline 9 V battery. also...if things are just acting weird...I would discriminate out the iron. did you have search for all metals on?

    • @jeffwomack5821
      @jeffwomack5821 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it was on 7 when I turned it on and then moved it up and down the scale trying to find a happy spot. The EMI is a good chance. I don't remember but I think there is high voltage lines in the area and there is some underground high voltage as well. I don't know where the underground is but it should be marked on land and water. I was using a Duracell alkaline . I did try taking out the iron and eventually the foil too. I'm going to try again in my yard a little later then go check the river where I was for the interference. Thank you for responding and so quick too. I don't see any choice now but to subscribe. Thanks again, if I find the million dollar ring I will split the reward with you ! Oh yeah I have to agree with you on the pin pointer, I have a feeling I will find out if it can swim!!

      Jeff Womack ...oh wow! no you will deserve the whole reward with your persistence! another great option is to contact the company..I have the phone number in the description of this vid. I think there are two gals there..maybe one, and then at least two men but they have the same name lol so don't get confused. They have been very helpful to me with my questions. keep me updated if you like!!😀

      MWSloat ......I had to have my battery clips in it replaced, maybe because I used wonky batteries I don't know but I also had various questions like how to properly use the pinpointer button and what the best batteries were for it (see my vid on best batteries to use). I love both my metal detector and the company.
