Right now everything I’ve recorded is up on TH-cam. I’m always working on something new so, have no fear, there is much more coming! Thanks so much for listening!
Thank you so much for this most excellent reading! Based on the first 4 chapters, I'm not a huge fan of the book. It seems to excuse human behavior by suggesting that no matter what the "smartest" will always take advantage of the rest. Maybe I'll listen to another one. Your channel is truly a gift.
Thanks so so much for listening, and taking the time to comment and share your thoughts! I would consider looking up a little historical background on this book if you’re interested, it might help put it in a little context- it’s a powerful allegory, and although frustrating and often unpleasant, it’s an important work of literature that is referenced all over the place. Thanks again for listening!
I have totally enjoyed listening to the cather in the rye on this channel. As for this book, this manner of reading doesn't fit well with the Animal farm. Should be less "poetic" more short in read i would even say Hemingway-like. I won't say it's difficult to listen to but it's just not merging well with the atmosphere of the book
Thanks for sharing your opinion! I really appreciate your comment and that you gave this recording a shot after Catcher. After reading a book a couple of times and deciding to step into the booth to record it, I try to capture how that book affects me during the recording without predetermining what it "should" be like or sound like. Inevitably my experience of something on a given day will not match perfectly with every listener's expectation/interpretation. Luckily there are a TON of great recordings of this book out there, I hope you find one that matches your experience of it!
