You could try to do a no skip easy+normal+expert (maybe super expert too) 100 Mario challenge where you keep the lives from the previous run. So if you ended the easy run with 85 lives left youd have to lose those lives at the start of the normal run and continue from there. Always love your vids :)
my guess is he would still have about 90-95 going into the super expert since the normal and easy difficulties r so easy for him. he made a video or two doing those difficulties and they werent ever a sweat for him

People who say "how about when you die you so-and-so" aren't thinking about the fact that at best Ryu would finish a 100-man with 80 lives, which means doing something 20 times BEST CASE scenario. So taking a shot, hot food, skipping level, or most of the ideas just wouldn't be practical bc either a) he'd literally die or b) the video would go on forever
For Episode 30 you could do a 100 MARIO run but through all difficulties. Easy, Normal, Expert, SE. but what ever lives you lose early on you lose when you move up. Say you end Normal with 95 lives you would start Expert with 95. And if you end Expert with 50 lives you only start Super Expert with 50 lives.
StevieSMM a lot of the low clear rate levels i’ve seen ryu do kinda irritate me (and him lol) with cheap tactics and lazy design. but this one was awesome! only sucks that people are exposed to it via a 100 life challenge instead of like a Kaizo run where u can take it at your own pace. when people have limited lives, the difficulty can be seen more as frustrating than rewarding/enjoyable. anyways great level, hope you’re still making more, and maybe look into doing your own kaizo/dram/poobear hacks

I think it would be funny to see one of them breeze through a fairly easy level while the other is frustrated on a super hard kaizo level. The competition itself would be mostly meaningless as the fun would come from the interactions between Ryu and whoever he plays against as they receive vastly different runs.

For the episode 30, you should prepare a variety of 6 brands of cheeses, and you get to eat one of the cheeses every time you finish a level by cheesing some part of it. The more tasty the cheese was in the level, the more expensive brand u are allowed to eat. If u don't find any cheese after completing a level, u have to select one of the cheeses and discard it without eating it.
"Dizzy Dreamland" was one of the most brutal of the well themed Super Mario Maker levels I've seen so far. I've seen a lot of them so that's a much bigger statement than it seems.

For episode 30 you can make all 4 levels categories with only 100 mario, so if you end difficult mode with 67 mario you will die 33 times in super expert and you will keep going with the challenge! This is pretty cool.

SD Ninja I don’t think that can work as there are hundreds of tiny countries that you probably hadn’t even heard of so the video would be like a hundred runs and 95%skipping so a better idea would be to maybe have 1 country from each continent for a level because there are much less continents

OK, I have a good idea (I think)! Grab 6 random super-expert levels. That is, write down their codes. Then instead of playing them in super expert, play them regularly, but keep a "lives counter" so the audience knows how much lives are left. However, place bowser at the start of each level! So you will get to see the start of the level (since you'll have to download it), but you'll be set back because there will be a bowser there to screw things up. So it's Super Mario No-Skip, Bowser Edition.
Do a Super Expert, Expert, and Normal run combined with 100 lives, and alternate between difficulties after each course. Normal levels can sometimes screw with your head after playing insanely difficult levels and make you overthink things that should be simple. Maybe someone could queue it up for you so you're not sure which difficulty setting you're playing and you're blind to how many lives you have left.

I think if you grabbed a Buzzy Beetle shell, go through the door, then come back, you can throw the shell and it will grab the feather. I'm very sure if that's how that works, but it grabs coins so maybe?

Edit: stacking sideways springs always seems to have the small chance of spawning next to eachother if you're fast enough (sometimes it is fast enough just by exiting a door), because of the way the game loads items in. It hasn't been patched out but any level that requires this to be beaten is taken down by Nintendo.
He doesn’t like new super Mario bros U *speedruns* because they are overused, uncreative, and they are pretty much all the same. The whole Mario maker community is pretty much sick of them.

That last level suffered from severe lack of checkpoints.
