I'm about to have my first clients and I've been freaking out. That last component about new therapists not knowing what to ask hit home for me. You're right, it is a conversation and it comes with time! thank you for the validation.

Loved that. Your authenticity shines through modeling what’s needed in sessions.

I was recently in a triad training session and one of the students was pulled up over using questions, but now, having seen this I understand that, it was she that was right and that the need for her questions came from a genuine place.

Loved watching this video - your relaxed demeanours make it seem so easy. You raised a lot of exactly what goes through therapists' minds in wanting to increase their experiences and knowledge of really listening keenly at the client's body language, as well as what they share verbally. Love the way you mentioned about slowing down the manner in which we ask questions and paraphrased what it is the client needs to hear and physically feel which in turn creates an atmosphere in which the client feels safe. I will definitely be watching your site, I will have plenty of questions!! Many thanks,

Nice bit of self disclosure their at the start, Bob! Thank you both for for bringing this to us in such a relaxed way. I find it hard to stay focused when a person is staring at me through a camera but your videos are so easy to follow.

Closed question- A question that requires a one word answer. E.g Are you hungry? Answer ...Yes
Open question- A question that requires multiple words. E.g. can you tell me about your childhood?

Absolutely disgusting guy sitting on the right side sticking fingers in his nose every sentence he finished. Such a horrible habit in front of camera.
