    Oh my Jesus. Forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of thy mercy.

    When Our Lord appeared to St Margaret Mary, he requested that France be consecrated to His Most Sacred Heart by the King. But King Louis XIV never did, and here are the results. Sound familiar?

      Yes, Our Blessed Mother requested consecrate Russia and no pope did it and now we're going through great chastisement as Mother told Sr. Agnes in Akita.

      She will help us to make our hearts tabernacles for her Divine Son.

    I previously thought the suppression of the Jesuits was a good thing, owing to the fact that currently the Jesuits seem to have such a liberal agenda, with the likes of Fr. James Martin promoting LGBT ideology etc. I forgot that at one time the jesuits were great defenders and promoters of the faith.

      Promoters of the Catholic faith you mean, anyway what was the name of that Jesuit who created the Social justice movement?

    The Sermon is so relevant even today and almost seems like the antifa and blm riots of 2020 are the violence that preceded the French Revolution, to make more desensitised towards such violence and mob action.

      To me it looks apposite, it looks like catholics creating chaos to disrupt a protestant country, in France it was the protestants creating chaos to disrupt a catholic country.

    Educate yourself:
    The causes of the French Revolution are complex. Following the American Revolution, the French government was deeply in debt. It attempted to restore its financial status through unpopular taxation schemes. Leading up to the Revolution, years of bad harvests worsened by deregulation of the grain industry also inflamed popular resentment of the privileges enjoyed by the aristocracy and the Catholic clergy. The Church was exempt from paying taxes to the government, while it levied a tithe a 10% tax on income, often collected in the form of crops on the general population. While the rich remained very wealthy, the majority of the French population was starving.

      @@truthseeker2275 vs an actual journal that was actually proofread. Also, you have dead reference links on wiki which is further invalidating your suggestion

      "journal that was actually proofread", vs peer-reviewed literature from multiple universities Oxford, Princeton, University of California . titles such as : Citizens without Sovereignty: Equality and sociability in French thought, 1670-1789. Princeton: Princeton University Press,
      I am sure of over 300 links some may be dead. That hardly invalidates the balance that is at least 100 times as credible to a proofread journal from a biased source.

    • @webmaristocrat4052
      @webmaristocrat4052 6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      that doesnt really mean that the video isnt true though. Most sources were clearly pointing out how hypocritical the revolution was as they kill people in the name of egalitarianism (ie: The reign of Terror)
