I think g shock is big for your wrist.. it didn't fit properly..thats the reason u ain't getting more accurate sleep and heart rate results...as these results do get impacted by the fit of the watch
Yep, it was brave to throw it. I’m glad to hear Casio managed to fix it. I doubt it would be still fixable if it would be any Apple watch or Garmin Epix/Fenix like watch, they would most probably need full price replacement ;) Many thanks for nice and informative video!
@@Runningshoesgurucomit can take minor shocks more than garmin instict for sure...but if throw it from top floor floors ..any watch will break... neither Casio claimed this kind of shit...
nice review, thank you for sharing. I bought the watch and i sent it back. no connection to external heart rate, no foot pod or indoor running, very far away from the actual standards
@@Koufalia4 i think it is about the usage you do. if you like rugged look and you don't care about amoled display, than instinct is cool, otherwise if you are looking at 50mm display range maybe the epix Pro can also be a great option
I'm a bit of a G-shock "fanboy" I have a couple in my watch collection, but I'm still not sure why anyone would buy this H2000 (or the H1000 before) over a Garmin instinct, Much less a Fenix. My Instinct (Solar V1) is over 2 years old now and still beats this casio on battery life, features and (perhaps most importantly) price, it was half the current asking price for an H2000! and has become my daily wearer (replacing a G-shock funnily enough). If you're going to ask for silly money you need the product to match. Casio keep trying to move the 'G-shock' brand into the fitness watch market (for the last 3 or 4 years it seems), but they keep over-pricing and underdelivering with every product. When My Instinct dies, I'll probably go shopping for an instinct 2 (or whatever version is on the market by then), Casio are still not on the radar for fitness watches IMO.
the fact that people are even trying to throw it from the 3rd floor is an advertisement by itself. ... because it's a watch... watches break very easily. Assuming that this watch will survive is basically complimenting it.
I do love this watch, which should be reliable and last for a long time! Just don't throw it out of windows of buildings! A pointless experiment to be honest! 😂
U must be faster than flash.. u threw the watch and picked it up at same time....🥲🥲...or u must have thrown it multiple times...as it seems unedited video😅
There was app update around half year ago allowing export data to Apple Health and Strava.

I found the cardio load status in the watch is completely different with the one in the phone apps. It is strange . Do you have the same problem?
They may take minimum 5years to develop this to the G-Shock standards.
Interesting, what do you mean?
this watch is a beast.
Time to throw Casio Rangeman GPRH1000 which is the same watch in more robust case :)
Casio just quoted 65 GBP for reparining this one... I won't be throwing another one down the window any time soon....

I remember the video where they threw the old one out of a helicopter and it worked, I will still buy this 😂
If we rented an helicopter and that thing broke I'd be really pissed off. Anyway, sent it back to Casio, let's see what's the damage in repairing it.
@@Runningshoesgurucom though I am thankful to you guys, if it wasn't for you guys I would have ended with a broken G-Shock. So thanks.
Are you sure you didn't make the battery go dead before you threw it out the window? 😂

I am between this one and Garmin Instinct 2X.

Do you even inquire about what you are buying before you buy?

Does tattoo really makes a difference in heart rate reading?
yes

Why is this video so bright! It burns my phone.
Quite a misleading video...just with the prior intention to defame the watch
Why would we do that?
agree. Really stupid video at the end. Throw a Garmin from the window and you will see 100%crap.
I wonder if they made the battery go dead before they threw it out the window. 😂

so similar to a garmin instinct

There's definitely an edit... can you find it? :)
