- Wondering what to do on a Sunday in Islamabad? We can recommend the buzzing Itwar Bazar; the largest Sunday market in Islamabad!
Itwar Bazaar is located in H9 Islamabad just along from the Kashmir Highway Metro Station.
There are all kinds of fresh produce in huge sections and seriously impressively stacked and presented! From potatoes and onions, to mangoes and okra, fresh fruit and all kinds of spices and condiments. There is a huge second-hand area selling used goods. There are shoes for sale and street foods and snacks. And it is generally just a bustling marketplace with friendly locals and proud farmers who will be happy to show you their wares and produce!

Avoid going out between 11-4 5pm onwards the weather is bearable.
Or
You can do early morning breakfast hunt and shopping spree (if u sleep early that night).
Also , sugar cane juice is best for hydration.
Id highly recommend the northern side of pakistan these days , good trekking spots and views.

Yes The main mango season when you were in Pakistan was over.. You should try mangoes when it's mango season here.. there are many varieties of mangoes to choose from
Steiners my friends, when are you traveling to the wondrous Northern mountain 🗻 areas? It's actually the best time to visit those areas since the temperatures will be cooler there than central or southern Pakistan.
But I do want to take a moment to appreciate the sense of adventure you have by getting outdoors during the intense heat of the day.

This time I request you visit Skardu in the north. You have already visited Hunza. Skardu is even more beautiful. Take the flight from Islamabad. It is known for having the highest elevation desert. We call it “Sarfranga Cold desert”.
