This is literally what I’ve been looking for we have been homeschooling for three years now but my daughter will finally be an official homeschooler since she is 6 now and I’m preparing for next school year. Thank you so much. I just have to find a reviewer

I’m so glad this helped you! Are you in any homeschooling Facebook groups for your state? I found our reviewer there. You may be able to do the same.

What you have to bring for homeschool evaluation of your kids?? Is it mandatory??

Each country or state differs in its laws, so it really depends on where you live. Our state requires yearly assessment, so that’s why we do it. If you’re in the US, you can find out more about your state homeschooling laws here: hslda.org/legal?gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADv9Ad429v-1THn-SLXrGyGdAy-ht&gclid=Cj0KCQjw-ai0BhDPARIsAB6hmP72o0CaWeM1Qyu5gmiOsjez8DM1A2nAl3QPgoxxEHzSSnwBR9NLb_caAnTUEALw_wcB

I loved this video! And I love Google Drive but have never thought to use it as a digital portfolio. This is genius! My only question is how do you deal with the issue of limited Cloud storage? I feel like I am constantly running out of that!

I thankfully haven’t hit that wall yet 😅 Maybe have a specific email for homeschool portfolios so that it has its own storage space?

@@smithpartyof6 I think that is what I will do. My account is constantly overflowing 🤣. Thanks!

Great video! We also use TGATB, and that seems easy to document. Do you have any suggestions on how to show progress with curriculums like Teaching Textbooks and Monarch? They are online courses and all the work is done digitally.

Are there any reports that you could use? Or a screenshot showing lessons completed? Maybe screenshots of any test scores?

Great ideas! I hadn’t thought of screen shots. Thank you so much for the help!

Thats a very good idea. Thanks for sharing. 1 thing if u have any info. Do you know anything for assesment test for a first and 2nd grader.do they need assesment test in nyc? how do i write a written narrative evaluation of a homeschool student grade 1?

Hi! I’m so sorry that I’m just seeing your comment. I’m not personally familiar with homeschooling in NY. I’d look at what HSLDA says here: hslda.org/post/how-to-comply-with-new-yorks-homeschool-law
You could also join a local homeschooling group on Facebook. I’ve found that my local groups are a wealth of information for questions like that.
