I have 3 guesses to the leaf symbol 1. Yaya Panda, because pandas eat leaves 2. An entirely new character which would be a fox or a tanuki, because they're famous for leaving leaves behind 3. Elora would make sense because in Crash Team Racing we got 3 Spyro characters: Spyro, Hunter, and Gnasty Gnorc. So for Crash Team Rumble we will get 3 Spyro characters: Spyro, Ripto, and Elora as our guest stars.
I really hope that we get a unique Spyro themed level to go along with the Spyro characters like what he got in CTR. That would make me a ton more hyped.
I think they will have a Spyro themed level arena thing being added if there's Spyro characters on the way, it would make no sense to not take things a step further and add a playable area to take Spyro and company to feel right at home with.

Calling Ripto a "small reason" for Spyro being here is just perfect. And, ripping off Spyro's wings sounds like something The Sorceress would (want to) do.
I mean, that was LITERALLY her plan in Year of the Dragon! She wanted the baby Dragons not to restore magic to the Forgotten Worlds, but so that she could use their wings to make an immortality charm.
For the leaf symbol, I really don’t know which character that has the leaf. It could be an existing character from the Crash universe or it could be a brand new character that we haven’t seen before. I think it really belongs to a plant character like a Venus fly trap, but that leaf that belongs to Willy Wumpacheeks makes the most sense.

I'm worried that Spyro is becoming to the Crash Bandicoot series what Usagi Yojimbo has become to the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". In that, he's the protagonist of a totally different franchise, but he's made so many appearances in the franchise that people will more associate him with the franchise he keeps appearing in rather than the one he's from. Still, this is exciting news. I'm still holding out hope for Classic Tawna, the Nitro Squad, Tracer, and Nina.

I had that thought 1 day after the trailer, and I feel certain that the leaf will represent him.

If Ripper Roo really is in the game, I hope this makes it where he appears in Crash Bandicoot 5, as a PLAYABLE character. We had Dingodile in Crash Bandicoot 4 be playable in the platforming adventure so it would be sweet if Ripper Roo joins the playable role as well for Crash’s next platforming adventure. Also if Spyro really is in Wumpa League, I hope he has some unique animations from his own games in Wumpa League, like if he wins he could use some of his idle animations from the Reignited Trilogy, like maybe he could lick his paw and spiking his hair, or him stretching, or he could do his happy dance like when you get a talisman or orb in the Reignited Trilogy version of Ripto’s rage. His death animations if he is killed in a health game could also be from his own games, like spinning around and collapsing backwards dead for normal, getting flattened and floating to his back if squashed, or he could be burnt, stand upwards no fall over backwards if burnt. If Ripto and Elora were to be in the game as well, then maybe in the next Crash Bandicoot Spin-off game, we could have Bianca and the Sorceress as the last remaining Spyro Guest Characters in Crash Bandicoot spin-off 3. It would be interesting to see what Bianca can actually do in the hands of a player, and see if the Sorceress can put her money where her mouth is. Lastly this is probably just me and not very likely, but if Crunch Bandicoot and Cynder make an appearance, it could set some interesting characters to look forward to seeing in Crash Bandicoot 5 and Spyro 4 respectively.

I honestly like this over-investigation because it brings a lot of possibilities. Spyro and other two character from his world could be in CTRB, and Elora and Ripto being the new guests sounds cool, a friend and a villain like in CTR. Although the leaf is by far the most ambiguous one, it could be anyone because many characters can be identified by a leaf, symbolyc or literally.
I recall there being a trio of unused villains envisioned for an unmade Cortex spinoff, one of which was apparently some sort of plant scientist called N-Growth or something, it's definitely a far shot but something worth mentioning!
There's also a villain called Doctor N. Tertain, a casino themed villain for the cancelled game cortex chaos, he appears on a post made by keith webb, where he's seen next to N. Trance (with his twinsanity design)

I *really* hope that the final character is Elora. She's been my favourite since I was a kid, I loved her redesign for the reignited trilogy, and I was so sad when she missed out on CTR.
As great as that would be, I don't think is. Mainly because it wouldn't make much sense to have two heroes and only one villain to represent Spyro in a game like this where they'd probably want characters to have some kind of 'rival' counterpart.
I really hope CTRm has character interactions because having the clash of egos and/or evil alliance between Cortex and Ripto would be too good to pass up.
I'm just gonna say it, Crash Team Rumble should have been made into Spyro Team Rumble if the rumors of TFB having to restart development are true. I will die on that hill. I don't care if it was meant to be part of Crash's 25th. It's Spyro's 25th in 2023, we should be getting a new Spyro game, not another Crash game.
I just realized that Tiny the Tiger hasn’t been in a newly scratched Crash Bandicoot game, fresh out of the box-esk, since 2007!! That would be big if he were included in this game because he’s been out of the playing field for A LONG TIME! But then again, there’s also a lot that haven’t been in a new new crash game.
I really hope that in this game they implement Crunch and Nina Cortex. Crunch is being a very forgotten character, and it would be great to have him back in this new game. Nina, being one of my favorite Crash Bandicoot characters, it would be super cool to play as her.

There's one problem. Wumpacheeks was actually "killed off" (juiced) in tag team racing. Canonically he doesnt exist anymore. As for ripto's necklace. I had a feeling it was ripto. It vegs you to wonder: is this game gonna have a full activision multiverse like smash bros is doing? Is crash just the staple for creating a crash lore that brings their other iconic character to the crash world. And what about spyro's cameo pool floaty appearance in crash 4? Was this a way of telling us that spyro is in fact gonna make a return, considering CTRumble was supposed to be a crash 4 game node instead of a standalone?

Maybe you Wily Wumpa Cheeks is The mascot. After all who would be as villain counterpart? The only person I could see working in Von Clutch and that’s a pretty big stretch. You should also keep in mind that Wily was blown up and had his remains eaten.
This is a long shot, but what if they're doing what Smash did with Piranha Plant? What if the mystery character is the man-eating plant from the first 2 games?
What if the leaf isn’t actually a part of the character, but a symbol commonly associated with sed character? In case you haven’t figured it out I’m referring to Stealth Elf or a different skylander from the life element. (Possibly Tree Rex considering the fact that he the life element symbol on his head)
What if the mysterious character is Stealth Elf both Spyro and Crash made an appearance in Skylanders what if they are trying to make Skylanders come back they posted a few concept art and awards so what if they're adding a few characters from that game to hype it up again maybe there's also plenty of characters with different skills in that game it would make Crash Team Rumble interesting plus she's a life element most of her things are leaf themed .

Far as I remember Gnasty Gnorc & Ripto were actually in the epilogue of the original Year of the Dragon so it actually make sense to have both of them as the main baddies for the true fourth game
I know it probably isn't it. But I think the character that represents the leaf could be a Skylander character. Think about it. Toys for Bob made Skylanders. Spyro is in Skylanders as a mascot for it. Crash and Dr neo cortex were even guest characters in imaginators . The life element in Skylanders literally uses a leaf icon. Plus people are wanting for Skylanders to return. So a Skylanders character being added would be nice. Tho probably won't happen
my possible pick for the leaf could maybe be aku aku but i suppose that wouldnt really make sense considering we've seen uka uka being used as a sort of power up in the trailer so its likley aku aku is also getting that treatment
Haven’t heard anything on Pura or Polar so I wonder if they’ll be part of the roster as well, or possibly some type of item or something to pick up like maybe a movement speed buff since in the originals you could ride them.
I really hope we get some mutants from Titans or MOM, I know most people hate those games but I really like the mutant designs and the gameplay was fun, love to see them return in some way

I feel confident that the Leaf got to be Papu Papu tho there's another Crash Character this could be they could go the Super Smash Bros route where we got Piranha Plant and the leaf could represent a literal Plant (Man-Eating Plant?) Which is basically the Crash Bandicoot version of a Piranha Plant I mean how insane and out there would that be? I mean it makes sense, it's a leaf, the Plant that eats you in Crash has leafs No one would expect it and if Piranha Plant becoming playable in Smash Bros was mind blowing then I see no reason this one wouldn't do the same I still think it's Papu Papu, but the plant is just as big of a possibility ...if not bigger and it can go the Iron Checkpoint Crate route and include other plants as alt costumes

I could see Papu Papu being the leaf given he was on the concept art so at least considered though there's plenty original characters to go through from that source too. (Would be neat if Willie got some vindication though.)
I think I know who the leaf is...boys the Skylanders are in town. The leaf symbol looks to be a part of the life element symbol for skylanders. And Toys for Bob made skylanders, so it's incredibly plausible.

I *really* hope that the final character is Elora. She's been my favourite since I was a kid, I loved her redesign for the reignited trilogy, and I was so sad when she missed out on CTR.
As great as that would be, I don't think is. Mainly because it wouldn't make much sense to have two heroes and only one villain to represent Spyro in a game like this where they'd probably want characters to have some kind of 'rival' counterpart.
Hey as long as we get Crunch, Tiny, Koala Kong, and Spyro at launch, I'll be more than happy!
I really hope CTRm has character interactions because having the clash of egos and/or evil alliance between Cortex and Ripto would be too good to pass up.

I'm just gonna say it, Crash Team Rumble should have been made into Spyro Team Rumble if the rumors of TFB having to restart development are true. I will die on that hill. I don't care if it was meant to be part of Crash's 25th. It's Spyro's 25th in 2023, we should be getting a new Spyro game, not another Crash game.
I just realized that Tiny the Tiger hasn’t been in a newly scratched Crash Bandicoot game, fresh out of the box-esk, since 2007!! That would be big if he were included in this game because he’s been out of the playing field for A LONG TIME! But then again, there’s also a lot that haven’t been in a new new crash game.
I hope the leaf either represents Tiny Tiger or a completely new character.

I really hope that in this game they implement Crunch and Nina Cortex. Crunch is being a very forgotten character, and it would be great to have him back in this new game. Nina, being one of my favorite Crash Bandicoot characters, it would be super cool to play as her.

So I'm thinking outside of the box and say that it could be the carnivorous plant that we see at the river levels in Crash 2 and at Papu's Pyramid in Crash Team Racing (we have Piranha Plant in Smash Bros Ultimate, so). Or it could be Aku Aku, since he has leaves

There's one problem. Wumpacheeks was actually "killed off" (juiced) in tag team racing. Canonically he doesnt exist anymore. As for ripto's necklace. I had a feeling it was ripto. It vegs you to wonder: is this game gonna have a full activision multiverse like smash bros is doing? Is crash just the staple for creating a crash lore that brings their other iconic character to the crash world. And what about spyro's cameo pool floaty appearance in crash 4? Was this a way of telling us that spyro is in fact gonna make a return, considering CTRumble was supposed to be a crash 4 game node instead of a standalone?
I would hope the leaf represents original Tawna, as remember in her bonus rounds, there are plenty of green leaves in the background.

This is a long shot, but what if they're doing what Smash did with Piranha Plant? What if the mystery character is the man-eating plant from the first 2 games?
I think the leaf is Elora's symbol since they are likely going to redesign her appearance to fit the games gimmick AND the leaf's image for sure.
What if the leaf isn’t actually a part of the character, but a symbol commonly associated with sed character? In case you haven’t figured it out I’m referring to Stealth Elf or a different skylander from the life element. (Possibly Tree Rex considering the fact that he the life element symbol on his head)

What if the mysterious character is Stealth Elf both Spyro and Crash made an appearance in Skylanders what if they are trying to make Skylanders come back they posted a few concept art and awards so what if they're adding a few characters from that game to hype it up again maybe there's also plenty of characters with different skills in that game it would make Crash Team Rumble interesting plus she's a life element most of her things are leaf themed .

Far as I remember Gnasty Gnorc & Ripto were actually in the epilogue of the original Year of the Dragon so it actually make sense to have both of them as the main baddies for the true fourth game

I know it probably isn't it. But I think the character that represents the leaf could be a Skylander character. Think about it. Toys for Bob made Skylanders. Spyro is in Skylanders as a mascot for it. Crash and Dr neo cortex were even guest characters in imaginators . The life element in Skylanders literally uses a leaf icon. Plus people are wanting for Skylanders to return. So a Skylanders character being added would be nice. Tho probably won't happen

Haven’t heard anything on Pura or Polar so I wonder if they’ll be part of the roster as well, or possibly some type of item or something to pick up like maybe a movement speed buff since in the originals you could ride them.
Ripto and Cortex have worked together before. For the leaf I would think Koala Kong since Koala's eat leaves but I will admit that it is stretching.

In all seriousness though, I was skeptical it might just be random objects and easter eggs (I mean where's Rusty Walrus in Nitro Fuelled if all easter eggs count?) but the jewel kinda took my interest, that really is Ripto's, huh. I could see Papu Papu being the leaf given he was on the concept art so at least considered though there's plenty original characters to go through from that source too.

I think I know who the leaf is...boys the Skylanders are in town. The leaf symbol looks to be a part of the life element symbol for skylanders. And Toys for Bob made skylanders, so it's incredibly plausible.
Maybe the leaf is the plant we saw in the trailer.... LOL, no I think that may be a clue as I don't think it's a stage hazard I think the plant is dropped by someone on one of the floating gem platforms
