Maybe admins and staff what it this way bc remember cops at start had to explain why their reasons captains had to make new char based on what staff told them. Also many ppl tried to be cops but now moved on bc np is beta test server haha.
Most of the better cops either moved to Onyx or got denied to become PD in 4.0 because of bullshit OOC reasons. The reason why PD is so shit in NP is mostly due to Nopixel management and server culture. It's been that way since forever and I doubt things are going to change anytime soon.

They can't detain you and search during a minor traffic stop for other probable causes unless they have a beyond reasonable doubt (A legal standard of proof required to validate a criminal conviction in most adversarial legal systems.) you are involved with an investigation. Lang is correct for declining a search. He can actually file a complaint or lawsuit for violating his rights. So far, all I see is fail cop RP in NoPixel.

I was honestly expecting them to check the car. I think so was he, which is why he grabbed the guns again. I think the problem is I believe checking the car requires a warrant(that would have required actual probable cause) but some cops have been ignoring the warrant requirement.
Violation of 4th Amendment rights: searching vehicle without invitation. they need a warrant to search. or a more solid "probable cause" than "someone called it in".

They just weren’t thinking 😂 normally you would pull them out and search them and the vehicle prior to them getting back in.
They don't have PC for the car. They only had RS, and they were detained in a traffic stop so they had the ability to pull them out of the car for a terry frisk but the car is protected unless you have complete evidence that they were the ones with the gun or a warrant to search it. If Harry even had a gun on him the correct charges would have only been against the driver because they only had the right to frisk the passenger and question them to obtain evidence against the driver. In a traffic stop they only have RS against the driver for a frisk as such any possession charges in this case fall only on the driver as otherwise people in a car could just pass contraband between each other.

I think the biggest issue is inconsistency cause the other day Ramee shot Benji and Ray and Benji and Ray said it was Ramee but he wasn’t searched nor did they do a GSR test. It’s the inconsistencies in the police department that lead to so many escalated situations that don’t need to be.
@@negoblle I mean to play devils advocate here he didn't really burn those bridges until he was charged 30k/his first felony for a PD weapon after being shot down by a local due to scuff and getting insta cuffed/searched before he even received medical as the only victim on scene then proceeded to be charged in court when its pretty clear it could have been a setup with the lack of evidence on what actually happened. Same thing that happened to K who then went on to create his reputation as well.

How are so many comments this stupid nowadays. The cops only need reasonable suspicion to pat them down, which they got from the gun call, they do NOT need probable cause. Probable cause would only be needed to do a car search, which they don't have - e.g. staking them out and seeing one of them with a gun. There should probably be a visual indicator if someone puts a gun in the glovebox, but that's a dev topic - either or exciting RP
