The music that plays when you fight Glas Ghaibhleann in Generation 1: Advent of The Goddess.That is Glas Ghaibhleann in the video.The picture,music,and Mabinogi itself do not belong to me.Mabinogi and it's music belong to Nexon and Devcat.
I remember all 4 gem dungeons, black orb dungeon, goddess dungeon, and this fight taking a solid 8+ hours back in the day with a full party.
I replayed G1 and had it all done in under an hour and killed Glas with a load of AR. Really makes me sad sometimes how they nerf this game's most memorable content, but whatever.

It's really the smallest hint at the original "Hold my Hand' (2:16) Theme heard in this track that nails it as STILL the most bad-ass song for a Generation Boss. Nuadha them be damned, I'll take the Glas fight for this song alone! NOSTALGIAAAAAAAAAAA~
11 years later, i still love this theme and...nostalgia when I killed it for the first time, damn~!
The intro theme coming through the badass boss music genuinely puts a lump in my throat
Damn I know it's necroing an 11 year old comment as of writing this one, but this comment nails it on the head! Also after that point of the track it uses a somewhat similar melody and same instrument/synth from Math Dungeon. The one that's, iirc, in a role-play quest as Mari's father of him trying to find hints of what happened to her. Very nice call back for theming.
Good times fighting Glas. It has been almost a decade since I last saw it.

I remember assisting two people with this boss. Something had gone to shit, the two of them lay dead, and despair crept towards us, but I wielded Demi God form, and shook the earth with Spear of Light.
Made two fellows happy with completion, und we all smiled in victory.
My own completion of G1 occurred by challenging Cichol to a Pokemon duel. Their Glas Ghaibhleann, against my Snow Golem.
This boss also appears in Vindictus, interestingly enough. I suppose it fits though, since Vindictus has another name... Mabinogi Heroes.
Vindictus has the Crescent Island theme, which alongside this one, is in rhythm games. Interesting.
It's a cry and fucking shame that people who play official Mabinogi these days don't get to experience Glas as a proper challenge in his own Gen, fantastic boss with a legendary theme.
This was one of my first exposures to an MMO in my lifetime, the panic and frustration of going through Albey Dungeon and trying not to die. Now it feels like a breeze, but this will forever leave a lasting impression on me.

I stopped playing Mabi a long time ago but even then, Glas only have 5k hp. Some light character building in modern Mabi, with a boatload of new skills. passives and gear that never existed back in G1, you could easily solo and melt Glas without ever taking a hit.

Just killed boss. Hitting him once with 6 charges of Gold Strike. Keyword, once. Its silly how they buffed regular dungeons making average low level snake in dungeon have higher HP than Glas. Shame I couldn't experience neither the music in game (having it muted) nor the excitement of fight itself >_>'

Back in my day, Glas had a chance to ignore stun and continue attacking unless it was a knockback move so we had to lure it in a corner and proceed to windmill it to death at a wall. Clearing G1 took a while and was scary as fk.
I remember hiding behind a campfire using campfire enhanced magnum shot spam to kill him because of his insane regeneration ability. Wounds were pretty much necessary to finish him off back then

Reading that note, I disagree. I think people do have an inalienable right to complain when people put spoilers in the description box, inaccessible to people simply searching for music from Mabinogi. It may be Gen 1 and it's now a very old game, but there are yet new players, and you're a donut nonetheless.
