I just subscribed, I hope you continue the educational Dabke vids as well as the various dance vids... You seem very passionate about Dabke, nice to see.
... Can you please explain what you meant when you said Dabke started in 1957? .. Did you mean Theatrical Dabke? As you said, Dabke is very old, like Dallouna, probably started when Syriac was still spoken thousands of years ago.
Also, in the Theatrical or Performance Dabke, that was developing about 50-70yrs ago, I can now see some of the Armenian influence, you mentioned .... I believe that Caracalla Troupe also added some Modern Dance influence in their Troupe performances....
However, I can not see a Palestinian influence, maybe bcz I am only a bit familiar with the contemporary Palestinian style. If you can, please point out a bit of that to me, I would love to learn in what way it influenced Lebanese Dabke.
I appreciate your effort, and wish you greater success in the future. I’ll be waiting for more of your uploads.

Thank you for your comments ❤ and sorry for the late reply.
The development of Dabka started in 1957 because back then was the first Dabke event took place 💃
The Palestinian Dabke have focused alot on foot work and you can see how similar is the taxi Palestinian move and the one & half lebanese move ( as example).
And i agree with you that Caracalla was a leading dance company on adding modern style to the Dabke 💃
