Love these Maria! Did you know bees are the only insect that creates food for us. Yeah, I’m a bee nerd. We have a few wild hives in our backyard and we love them. I’ll definitely give these bees a go. Loved the way you blend the colors. Thank you for sharing.

Have you tried 'rigger 0' Versatil series by Escoda? That's my favorite one of all times.

I love these bees, Maria! You have laid out each step of rendering them beautifully! I thought about a cute card that could be painted easily by a beginner. How about a jar of honey with a couple of bees flying around, a glass of lemonade, maybe a couple of cookies on a plate and a caption "Sweeter than Honey." Only an idea, but I will work on it! Quick yet beautiful painting Maria! It's so amazing to use the colors to paint legs and wings from body. And I was doing it wrong, let the main portion dry(body here) and then paint the details later, like legs or hair. It didn't look uniform always. Now I got the right way.

@@mariamorjane Yes, I do work from home. I'm a software developer, so our work is not that affected even though here it's complete lockdown. On the contrary management expects to work more as we can't go outside due to lockdown 😅

Hi Maria, love your video.
I'm struggling to get my colours to bleed into each other like you have with the yellow and red without it one spilling into the other.
I think I'm using too much water as it seems to instantly "bleed" into it
I'm only using a cheap set of watercolours from amazon. Do you think that could be the problem?

Hi Maria I could never paint stuff like this my wife really freaks out when it comes to bugs especially bees wasps and spiders she cant even look at pictures of them. Incidently I thought they were great. Until next time take care and stay safe.
