Velcro the battery into the compartment, and add a strip to the panel as well. That'll keep the battery from moving around, and lock the panel into place. JM2C

EZ Turn, AKA Fuel Lube is great for sealing threads in fuel systems, unlike many lubricants/sealants petroleum products wont dissolve it, I've used it a great deal on aircraft.
I watched this years ago when it first came out. I would've been happy with just this setup for like $500. If nothing else, fun for burning brush piles. XM42M seems to have taken a lot of notes to heart, including the backpack. I want it.

Will it allow you to spray your fuel without igniting it? An unignited burst followed by a second ignited burst may improve distance. Also, you said a gasoline diesel blend did not ignite quickly enough. Try adding a small amount of acetone, and see if it improves the ignition rate. A composite fuel blend will probably be the key to top performance.

It's Cali and Maryland actually that are the 2 states. There are technically ways to get them in both states. In California you have to get a permit from the state fire office. In Maryland it is considered a destructive device and requires an ATF tax stamp to get one.
Nice review! You got a like from me, but, you could make the tank a bit larger by making it less tall/ extend a bit towards the barrel. Kind of like paintball hoppers. Just an idea

try methanol in it. green flame, you can get it in bottles of heet in the automotive section and borric acid in roach killer or just blue if you use the methanol

Maybe a good idea for a flamethrower, not too much dough you will end up with a napalm type gelly mush. Diesel has a higher viscosity than gasoline and you can use it so this could work in the flamethrower. Anyway thanks for your videos
That's funny, I have that exact battery (model, connector, 2.2ah, etc) for my trex 450 rc helicopter. I think they run all of 8-10$ if you want to grab a spare or two to keep on hand. I'm not sure how far you are from an area that gets snow but I'd love to see how well it clears a driveway or walkway of snow! Lol. Talk about making snow removal fun again!!
You couldnt melt that bottle filled with water because of physics. If you try to burn a paper cup filled with water you wont be able to, thats because liquid water wont go above 100ºc. So the paper, or plastic, that it is in contact with wont burn or melt.

They need to scale up the plumbing and get more pressure out of it. I'd also recommend bottom mounting the tank. Then we'd be in business.

Diesel and gas mix should give a little more distance due to it being slightly thicker and increasing pressure.
