Absolutely agree, the pulsefire and backpack is probably the best deal around. I got the throwflame x15 and it is GLORIOUS!!! ..... But you do have to find places that fill Co2 and due to local hooligans with paintball guns places are few and far between; plus as he mentioned the pressurized tank safety. The trade; I do believe is that electricity could be a problem...

You should try dissolving some styrofoam into the diesel/gas mix, see if the pump/nozzle can still work with the thicker fuel. If does, then yes, it's a flamethrower.

I'm hearing that only a pacified version can be sent to California. Apparently it has a more dispersed spray pattern. But I guess that doesn't stop us mechanically inclined and determined individuals from doing a little tweaking and getting what we want.
Yea, there is a special spray tip for Cali.
Supposedly you can get the nonpacified version if you get the permit

Got blackberries for days, but think it'll take alot more than 4 minutes.
I fought blackberries for 10 solid years at my last place. And kudzu. But I never had a flamethrower. And you can always mick up 5 gallons of diesel and gasoline and refill it every few minutes. You can burn a lot of blackberry bushes in 4 minutes.

Not sure about today, but about fifteen years ago, possession of a flamethrower was perfectly legal in all 50 states.
