🐟Species description:
The Catfish inhabits lakes and rivers of Europe and Asia, except those running into the Arctic Ocean. It likes warm water bodies with weak currents. Catfish prefer deep areas and snaggy pools. The catfish is a voracious predatory fish. It feeds on frogs, juvenile fish and molluscs. There are known incidents of catfish attacking aquatic birds and even dogs. Catfish are an ambush predator, it hunts in the time of twilight, attacking its victims that swim past. Its body without scales is covered with a thick layer of slime, it is almost black on the dorsal surface and spotted olive-green along flanks. The belly is very light, almost white. Catfish that live in open water bodies with flowing water are distinguished by lighter colouring. Very dark specimens can be found in overgrown areas with weak currents. The dorsal fin is small and less developed, the anal fin is long and fused with the caudal fin. The head is wide and flat. There are two barbels on the upper jaw and four shorter ones on the lower. The catfish is a very large fish, it reaches a length of 5 m and a weight of 300 kg.
🐟Waterbody description:
A small meandering river, with its source situated somewhere near Yaroslavl. The river channel is quite narrow, which makes fishing with practically any tackle comfortable here. A beginner at spin fishing would particularly enjoy this location, as he or she would find here a wide range of predatory fish species. A couple of humble stores and a workshop can be hunted up in the nearest village, and on the edge of the forest, there is a sawmill, where rare sorts of wood, used for making lures, can be bought.
To access this body you have to be level 7.

Do you know where u can go fishing for catfish and zander for lvl 13?
do u need a carp rod or a normal rod?
What is best bait for catfish wjen i have low lvl? Because a cant craft peases of fish.
don`t exist lower level equipment or bait when we speak about catfish... they are monsters and you need insane equipment for them... BUT here on winding the catfish is not so big... see the video, I think the biggest was 7kg :) But you have chance to catch a 40 kg one :) and that is bad :)). If you have low-level equipment don`t worth to target catfish... But if you want to try and catch your first catfish do what I present in the video and try with nightcrawler (big worms for catfish) but I don`t know if they are active at worms here on winding!

@@projetsmith it's just like in reality. One spot can be good sometimes and sometimes don't work anymore... This game is very close to reality... Factors like temperature, wind, rain can influence fishing... And fish in the game migrate to other spots
