This is my first time as a UFC fan following a big boxing fight like this and I’d like to say how impressed i am with Gervonta’s attitude after the fight more than his skills. Dude is a solid fighter and an even more solid champion. God bless him.

It was the body-shot from Hell. So perfectly placed/timed that no one really saw it (Including Garcia), even the camera angle missed it.

Beating up his baby Momma and pleading guilty to 4 charges, not to mention he‘s got an upcoming court date for fleeing the scene of an accident where he injured people. Let‘s see if he gets the Hollywood treatment and doesn’t get punished, or if actually takes his punishment and grows from it.

@@JEyliv Most people have made statements about Davis having a high boxing IQ. There is nothing wrong with pointing that out. Lebron James has a really high basketball IQ. It's just another aspect of being an athlete and/or competitor. It has little to do with the general definition of "intelligence quota".

Tank really showed Ryan a lot of respect you can tell even when answering honestly he never took shots at Ryan’s ability, Tank was clearly a level above Ryan and he barely tried to make it known when speaking about the fight, real respect. He knows Ryan is on his way to having a great career albeit in the shadow of Tank.

You might get knocked out, that’s what a fight like this takes. It’s your life on the line at that point. Tank is also 4 years older than ryan, ryan 4 years from now will be a completely different fighter than he is now. It was a great fight,complete respect to both of them for getting in the ring.

Man Floyd a real one for always being there to coach tank with the media. Tank has matured as a person so much since he really started listening to him, possibly saved his career, he was acting crazy af for a while. You could really see how focused Tank was walk into the ring. Great win for Tank and boxing and hopefully Ryan can bounce back and make something happen.
This young man deserves all of his accolades. I also think he hit the nail on the head. He was calm and collected throughout the fight. Garcia seemed to be pushing a bit, jittery, and anxious. I think the entire world would love to see Davis fight Inoue at a catch weight.
I don't think Inoune will have the same power at that weight. But it will be interesting if they fought. But I got Tank all the way.

I’m glad these two have always been humble, in win or defeat. It really hits home cuz like myself, they both grew up in not ideal situations but manage to have positive outlook on life, and keep their heads high. They both are actually funny and seem like normal everyday folks even after the money and fame. Good role models for the kids, as long as they just stay out of trouble, cuz at this stage in their careers, it’s not worth it. I hope they continue to change the game and not let the game change them.

EXACLYLY. He wasn't cutting ring off correctly. Walking a st8 line into Tanks traps. Not circling at all. Was having success with the st8 right. But wasn't throwing it enough. Got impatient went for the kill and got caught with a beautiful counter that dropped him. The inexperience was driving me crazy. But he can only get better.
