I've watched a bunch of reviews on the adventure and athlete bags from atlas... definitely torn between the 2. I prefer the size of this bag, as I picture being able to use it for a single bag travel pack for clothes and gear. I like that you mention being able to pull out the frame to meet the airline restrictions. (Other reviews have mentioned it and even taken it out.. but none has shown how it actually cinches down.. I appreciate that.) I'm really wondering if the bag can be cinched with the top portion packed with clothes or misc other stuff or only if that section is unused? No other reviews have mentioned that. Overall, this is one of the best reviews I've seen. Well done!

@@trailheadmedia I just use a peak design cube in my osprey atom 50. atlas adventure is my dream bag actually, but the weight itself is just too much as backpacking.
