- I took a weekend trip up to Gloucester, #Massachusetts to dive with #Seals. Gloucester is a small city on Cape Ann in Essex County. This was my first Northeast dive. The water was rather cold - 63 degrees. The Seals were very friendly. The dive site was called Dry Salvages.
The dive trip was organized by a local NY dive club called the Scuba Sports Club. The captain of the boat is Captain Fran Linnehan
I shot this using a Gopro 6 with a (green water) Backscatter filter and dual Sealife video strobe - 2500 lumens.

Cool dive !!!
It was!!
Beautiful! You take great shots and videos.
Thanks so much!
@@ScubaHank You are very welcome. :)
Very cool... reminds me of snorkeling with sea lions in the Galapagos. How deep were the seal dives?
Not that deep - 40-50 ft max. But the Seal were mostly around the 15-25ft range.
Looks like a nice dive! I went seal diving last year and it was awesome. Isle of Shoals?
Yes, with Down Under Charters
