Thanks for sharing the link to the Gougeon Bros book - I first read it, in parts, in 1980 while planning our fourth 3.7.. the lightest one ever built as it became and still sailing and winning races today. Hahaha, yes 10C. Switched between T-shirt and light coat several times. Sometimes I was too warm, later again too cold. Also drank 2 cans of beer to stay warm, but I will refrain from alcohol near power tools in the future :)

SV Satoshi; How long is that batten that you are using? Is it the length of the hull? By the way, I am using the videos from Stew at Luckyfish and from for inspiration on getting my plans and building my own Tiki 38. Merci/Bedankt/Thanks!! :):):)
Hello again fmagalhaes1521. The batten is about 4 meters. It is not the length of the hull, which is about 11.6 meter, but it is long enough to draw the curved lines. I am also very much inspired by LuckyFish channel. Every week I am looking forward to their new videos :) Let me know when and where you are going to build your Tiki 38. Greetings, Marcel

By the way, do not throw away the sawdust of the hard wood, it is very good to mix up with epoxy...some say it is better than microspheres.
