You can always tell when talented drivers actually start really driving a car as Nico did briefly in the P1. They stop talking, the hand positions change along with body control but it's mostly in the eyes. It's not just how they shift where they focus corner to corner, it's also the intensity that seems to come to the surface. It's fascinating to watch I think.

rockzs74r I think all F1 drivers are generally bad passengers. I've seen a few videos where they're in the passenger seat on fast laps and they've always looked nervous. It's the lack of control. They're all control freaks and they're feeling the speed and being on the limit but without the being in control themselves they worry just like we would.
not only all of that, but they only get half the feedback from the car that the driver gets, his feet are not on the pedals, and his hands are not on the steering wheel, so all he has is is butt in the seat to tell him what the car is doing.

Well the Schumacher era was quite the same than the actual Hamilton era. Excepted the fact that Botas is alowed to fight and win , Barrichello wasn't (really underrated driver btw, he could have win the Championship without the Ferrari instructions ) . But you're right, it was a damn good era !

First met Mika in 1991 as a guest of Lotus in Adelaide. As a young man at the time I was blown away by how humble and approachable he was. Took on the greats of Senna and Schumacher and emerged a two time champion. Fantastic video Nico. Keep up the good work.
And the older generation of F1 in general. It just died for me in the late 90s when it became too boring to watch. I quit after I started falling asleep mid-race.

As a german I can honestly say that there is just something genuinely "cool" and "easy going" about finnish dudes. That video of 1,5 finnish guys interacting with eachother just having a good time shows that.

Nico's father..Keke Rosberg had a part in the rise of Mika Hakkinen in the Formula 1 ..he was Mika's manager..in the Lotus team.. :)

As a german I can honestly say that there is just something genuinely "cool" and "easy going" about finnish dudes. That video of 1,5 finnish guys interacting with eachother just having a good time shows that.
