I use to watch Bob Ross religiously. He was my favorite. I have now found a second favorite. You do an awesome job of disturbing for us to follow. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
I’m so excited to paint this guy!! I painted the pumpkin gnome and he turned out so stinking cute! Thank you for providing a tutorial for us. You are the BEST!!! 😍❤️😍❤️
Beautiful as always! I love Gnomes, I painted the last one you did for me and my daughter, we have them out in both our homes for Thanksgiving, will definitely be painting him as well! Thank you Michelle!!
Lovely, adorable! I did the scarecrow gnome and I hanged it in my kitchen for fall…Now I have to do this one for Christmas.Perfect! Thank you Michelle so much!!!
Well Michelle I've learnt a lot since I've been watching your videos and painting your works...however...I didn't think I would learn that I was ambidextral. Im a pure lefty and every painting has been a challenge cause you do everything opposite what my brain tells me to do. Today, out of the blue I followed your tutorial and painted with my right hand anything on the right side of the canvas and oh man what a surprise. I draw straighter lines and shake less with my right hand...so weird....Thank you I feel like the sky just opened up for me. Born again at 54 lol
This is so beautiful Michelle, I always look forward to your tutorials and appreciate all the painstaking efforts from painting to editing them so well ❤️ more power to you 🥰
Thank you for your content. I just finished painting this and was so pleased with results. You really make this painting much less intimidating. Appreciate you sharing your talents.
He is sooo precious! Your ideas and teaching style are wonderful. I am so thankful that I found your channel 1 year ago. You keep my paint brush dancing across my canvas!
Painted along with the video and I thought about halfway through that mine would never be as cute as Michelle s. But when she and I added the highlights and shadow s it just suddenly came together. I am so pleased at the result. Its already been hung on the wall for Christmas. Thank you for sharing your skill .
I thought I better comment before you run out of room for comments. Goodness, already 573 views! Anyhow, I just found you on TH-cam last week and want to tell you how smart I think you are! Your step by step instructions are not only organized but also, the instructions are thorough! I finished the autumn leaves hanging on a clothesline, & Bad Hairday. After the xmas kitty with tangled string of lights, this one will be next. I appreciate that you use a limited palette which keeps things simple and doesn't cost your students a small fortune to paint. Plus, it's frustrating when you see something you want to paint. We want to paint it "Now' and not wait on a paint order. Good Work Michelle!
Thanks so much Allie. So glad that you're enjoying my teaching style and the designs. Have fun working your way through your favorites! Thanks for watching! ~Michelle
Hi Michelle, what stunning painting, l love the gnome he is so cute can't wait to try and paint him.. thank you for sharing your painting with us all.. 👏👏 💖 from Susan in England 🇬🇧 x
Another great adorable Christmas painting 😁 🎨 😍 I don't know how you are thinking of such great paintings 😬😂 But please keep them coming. Thanks Michelle 🙋
That wriggle cracked me up. I had to watch it a few times because it cracked me up, especially the karate move with your hands straight out. I needed that laugh so bad. Nome is too cute. 👏😁🤣
Hi, I use a flat chubby bristle brush designed for students. They are not the best on the market, but I like the affect that I can get with them. There are several brands that make them, but I also them them on my website at the link below if you want to try one. Have fun painting, Michelle Shop: berkshirepaintandsip.squarespace.com/shop
Hi Michelle!! Could you maybe add a Valentines Day gnome?? My daughter loves them and would love to add it to her collection. :) Thank you for all you do!!
Hi Tricia, I am actually considering doing one in the next couple of weeks. Not 100% positive I will yet, so you'll have to keep your fingers crossed. Thanks for watching! ~Michelle
Lovely Michelle, Love this! I finished the Beagle and the broom today: the Beagle in the witch costume! So, cute. Of course, it pales in comparison to your creation. hahahah. You're the best. As always, lots of love and a big HOLLER!! LOVE, M XOXO
Well hello again Michelle.!!!!! No you didn’t just do ????oh!!!!!!yes you did just do it!!!!!!! Not a gnome !!!! Now the Christmas list is completed…lol. Heeheehee you are just the sweetest lovely person I have ever come across. Good job my bestie….but I haven’t yet seen anything you can’t do. Oh!!! I just got and idea. We need to see some outtakes at the end ….than I’d think you were human. Not just a beautiful sweet short smart and talented women.
Lol! We just had a funny out take today... my blow dryer's engine blew so we had to video tape me fake blow drying the canvas, which strangely tickled our funny bones, and we then caught the giggles and couldn't stop laughing! I also like how you had to throw in "short" into the kind description of me...lol again!

Hello, for these tutorials I'm using a thin bodied student grade paint from Blick Materials called Blickrylics. They don't have the best pigment, but I like the consistency for layering and blending affects. I sell small sample sizes of the colors I use on my website (link below) if you want to try them before you invest in the larger bottles. Yes, it is creamy!
