Please help, I cannot install win7, etc. to my nx6125. Bios doesn't see my HDD. While installing, sometimes I can see HDD in installation screen, I can make partition, format etc...but cannot continue installing. I click load driver, then click compatible ide, etc... controller drivers, but nothing. I tried so much type of AMD driver. Can't I find correct driver, WHAT IS THE CORRECT AMD MOTHERBOARD DRIVER to be able to make HDD be seen in bios. Or what's wrong, please help, thanks in advance...
i have on like this and i maked some hole in the case under the fan and it worked much better after that but now i have non-system disk error and don't know how to fix i changed the cmos battery but nothing changed some solution ? (sorry for bad english)
@Macintoshmani12 Ah its not so old... :d Shure it has a docking station! i got two one cammed with my elitebook and one with nx9420. Both are mobile workstation machines. All of those Compaq series does have one connector at the bottom for travel battery.
if my laptop(hp nx6125) won't start with or without the baterry what should be the problem? normally should work even without the batery in his place? i noticed that if i press the power on button(with the baterry in place), it blinks a couple of times(maybe 3) that thunder led, with a yellow-orrange colour, but i do not hear the HDD nor the green led near the power button doesn't light.what could be the problem? what happened before, the laptop suddenly stoped working.
@acecono lol: I smashed a HP Deskjet 710C apart! I removed the Motors and cut the plug off the Power Supply and conneted it to the motors hit them on the Floor then they got bad bearings and sparked too! then I threw the power supply from it out of the window and smashed it!
@omgtheysaidlolcat oh I know that problem... If I get some dead motherboards, I usually took connector off them. I also need to get one power connector from ebay for my asus l3800c.
i have changed the hdd 3 times with fully installed win xp professional sp3 and nothing happened and i checked the connection to the motherboard and didn't see anything wrong there, i reseted the cmos stuff and that did not change anything i changed graphic card and nothing happened i did a hard reset (unplug ac adapter and remove battery and hold down power switch for 30 sec) nothing happened so i just thing tha its the motherboard :/
Yep hole in the bottom is realy good idea!!! Non-system disk... there are few options what could cause that. Maybe windows is corrupted or dead hard drive. First I would check the hard drive and the connector on the motherboard. Than check if the hdd is in right position in caddy. Its not the BIOS fault! Inform me about your progress!! :D
first i would check the hard drive in another computer. Than check the bios settings. I think its something as hdd mode AHCI or IDE. Set it to AHCI. I'm not shure about that, but most of hp laptops have that functions and ide mode maked hdd unvisible. Or even set bios defaults, maybe that'll work. Than you can't see a hdd in HP bios. I am 100% shure that hdd is faulty. try with different one.

@omgtheysaidlolcat So did you allready change that power connector or it had only bad connections? I need new motherboard for that one...
Yeah i didn't upload it beacause i didn't had any time. I am hoping to get one motherboard which needs reflow! I'll do my best.
@acecono No.. the local electronics-store hadn't exactly the same connector so I bought it on ebay.. Have to wait till it arrives though. ^^

Hello sir fir kiya kara ya toh btao
@acecono Michael Jackson- Billie Jean remix ?
Great video, but where is the next video to how to reflow that motherboard? hahaha :D best regards.
Thanks to you for this video. Speeded up the disassembling of mine (broken power connector - at least i hope so ^^) very much. :)

Here's the question. Which chip needs to be reflowed?
chip wich is cooled (under heat sink like cpu).
acecono The CPU isn't soldered in though?
