My husband and I are in a class on Lewis’ “Til we have faces.” This week we touched on beauty and longing. St Ignatius’ letter shows us the longing for beauty, just like Psyche in Lewis’ book.
Thank you Ps. Tyrel. Thanking God for you and for you being on youtube. People don't die for a lie. Well, I have known stories of people who have attempted suicide for whatever reasons and just their body cells wouldn't allow them to die and they want to live even after committing that mistake and if they get to live then they would live their life with consequences or they would die. And the eyewitnesses of Jesus death and resurrection, the apostles and martyrs, stood for the truth of what they have seen. They were sure and confident to die, the certainty of Jesus Christ, our Lord's resurrection.
'Not just an academic position that we try to persuade others to adopt '
Love it
It gets shoved into something to study far too often.
