I don't think that man was racist to begin with. People naturally stay away from foreigners, and as a man u should honor your father's land 4 it is your inheritance, and that of your wife and children 4 the man is the head of his household. So this man is very weak as he lives in Poland, which is not the land of his forfathers. He should go to his own land and make it there.

+Africa Web TV I used to live in France, and while I was taking French lessons there I met Polish girls that told me them dating black men was a highly desired thing back at home, and I had to turn a number of them down in Paris because I was married at the time. And being a mixed person myself, I am all too happy to see more interracial families

Kez P Do not believe everything you read until you've been there. We've been going to Poland every year for 9 years. It is the loveliest and most friendly country to visit. We are based in The Netherlands and we can say to you there are good people everywhere just as there are bad ones. The reason we did this item is to show people the reality of Poland. It is modern and progressive. And yes we should know what we are talking about, we are very black but Poland always make us feel welcome. We love to shop at Tesco too. Very cheap and is open 24/7!

Kez P The obvious destinations might be the big cities Warsaw, Krakow etc. But the family in this video live in Zielona Gora. That's like 700 km from the Warsaw. But it is also just 150 km from Berlin, Germany which is also a great city. Lots of the young people speak English so if you are just curious and open minded, you will have a blast. If people look at you a bit more than you are used to, it is mostly because they are curious. There is no malice at all.

I really liked how the teacher in school handled the issue,, speaking to the kids about the differences :) I think some (or maybe a lot of) adults are afraid to speak about differences and by doing so they make it worse because since you can't speak about it the kids get the feeling that being different is bad.

I like your family.I personally got married with nigerian guy too.we lived in Warsaw about 13 years and we passed a lot of attacks. So on 2018 we decided to move to town to try the difference and I can agree with you that people in town are much more kind like in Zielona Góra than in Warsaw.

So much credit to him. I met this man a few months ago in the Netherlands at a friend's party and he was very open and inviting about Poland, I had a bad racial discrimination experience in the country a few years back and he encouraged me to go back and maybe to a different city :-). Not sure I would very soon.. but it was humbling of him to see why I had my reservations and encouraged me to be open minded and see! :-)

It's not true. It's not always parents. Sometimes kids just can be cruel because they are not yet taught that some things are not right to say, they aren't as empathic as adult. They can be joyful but empathy is something that comes with maturity.

Kids react to what they see and how they see them in their environments. The behaviour you described are never developed in isolation. The images they see on TV, the verbal and non-verbal reaction of people around them give them messages about how they should approach things. No child is born racist.
It's just not true. Sorry. Ofc TV has influence, but it's not like kids are angels on its own and only adults make them evil. Both good and evil are in our nature. Kids at some stage also try to develope hierarchy and they fight and argur. Boys especially. And they can say really mean things about anything, short height, color of skin, anything. They do it so the other person starts to worry, they develope complexes and they are no longer the threat. Bully didn't have to be racist to say a racist comment that serves his purpose. It's a great mistake parents do these days, they think they only need not to give bad example and isolate them from bad examples. That's wrong. You need to give good examples all they time and only then kids will learn when they see you really mean it and believe in things you are teaching them. Similar things are in adult reality. There are people out there that are just looking for trouble and when they see person of different color they just have idea of how they can attack. It doesn't mean that they are having racist thoughts all the time or they think color means anything. It's just that in this situation it's easier for them to use different color to start a fight and make someone feel bad. Most of racists are just people that are bullies for everyone.

They are absolutely lovely! It is nice to know they are happy in Poland, that he is happy there. I'm from Poland too and I am married to a black Caribbean man for the past 7 years, we've been together for 11 years, so yes it is possible. We don't live in Poland but from experience, I noticed that some Polish people don't like or are afraid of or are prejudiced if they never met a black guy. Once they get to know him they are very nice. My cousin's husband's family invited my husband to visit them, everybody wanted to speak to him or asked me about him while we were in Poland at the family wedding. They couldn't get enough of him. And that was everywhere we went. Black people are like celebrities because there are not many of them in Poland. If you are friendly and open Polish people can be your life-long friends. Also mixed kids are regarded as beautiful. So many strangers told me my kids are cute.

We have been to Poland 14 times in the past 14 years (the last time being in July this year) We have felt nothing but love! Have a great live with your own wonderful family!

im from Poland and I know what it can be like.
normally if there is any problem, it is just a resault of people not being use to any change, its unknown. a change is always painful at first and we try to resist it.
Polish borders were closed for years and you could not see any foreigners so now to see people coming in, is unusual.
plus we as a nation we love spending time with our families yes, but what the difference is especially with the older generation, they dont easly open up to new people, doesnt matter where you come from.
but once you are part of our family, they you will feel the love.
