Hi, I'm new to weaving- What about the 2 sticks ?? Do you pull them out? When? and When you do pull them out What is done with the gap that was left by the sticks? Do you cut and separate? Is it finished?
Hi :) You keep the sticks until you finish the band, they are used as separators between the bookmarks that I’m creating in this video. After removing the band from the loom, I use them to have an easy cut and straight between the bookmarks.

Yes, but I recommend mercerised cotton.
