Nihara, Very few make step by step videos, all end up only with finished products video. By making this series your stature also has increased when u detail finer details, especially keeping in mind practicality and ergonomics of the subject. Kudos!

Hi Nihara! Loved the removable steel storage.
Best thing I find in this kitchen is the kitchen cabinet as I don't like white or brown cabinets and black is little conventional. I am far from constructing my own house at this moment but I still watch this as I used to work in House Interior Materials Showroom where I used to completely manage the showroom and in love with these materials, literally everything that involves in House Interiors. Moreover I like the way you utilise the small spaces and, ofcourse your presentation. I am getting to learn more. Wishing all the success in your endeavours.

Would like to indicate couple of amusing things in the video
1. You looked surprised how easily the steel cabinet fitted into the drawer🙂
2. Soft close was way too soft and would take ages to close🤣

Hi Nihara, really awesome design. You have really transformed this space. Just a question about the washing machine space - did that nook already have plumbing connection? Else how did you plan the inlet & outlet for water? I saw another video where you walked through the floor plan, this wall isn't connected to the bathroom.
Also, can you make a plumbing video please? With all fittings used in different areas.

Hi Nihara, I see you've raised the platform height to accommodate the washing machine, since most of washing machines & dishwashers have a common height of 845 mm. What solutions do you suggest if one doesn't want to raise the height, rather keep a common height throughout the platform? Masons doubt the strength of a single layer granite/quartz/marble top, but I still feel there could be a reinforcement (in form of metal cross bars) under the granite/quartz slab to offer support to that portion which cannot have a second layer of cuddapah /Kota stone. Have you ever carried out such a construction? Or do you have alternate solutions? Please do let me know. Thanks :-)

Nihara.. Do you think it would have made more sense to keep the fridge first and Washing machine later?? Generally you access the fridge more than the washing machine and secondly that way you could have ended the counter at the same height...
