Yercaud is a hill station near Salem, in the Servarayan range of hills (anglicized as Shevaroys) in the Eastern Ghats.Yercaud is one of the low cost hill station destination in India but it has all the elements to surprise you and make you mesmerized with its naturally beauty. It has 22 hairpin bends and its enough to make the thrilling driving experience.
Yercaud has a lot to offer and on your lucky day this place gets covered with clouds and mist and you will experience the true beauty of this place. Post monsoon Kiliyur Falls usually has very less water so confirm with locals before going as you don't want to go to empty waterfall after a sort trekking and climbing those stair cases. It is a good place for a one day trip and max for 2days.In the morning and in the evening the weather usually gets pleasant(Clouds,Mist).
