Such a great feeling for Mozart's musical language, appearing in pure culture. Rhythm, sound and touch enter into an intelligent combination, which means that everything sounds very natural. This applies also to the musical phrasing as well, and the rhythmic-metric processes are played in a very differentiated way.
    Bravo Ingrid Haebler!
She was considered as a true specialist for the performance of the piano music by Mozart.

This is by far my favorite recording of K511. This performance is clean, delicate, precise, and delicious.

Haebler was incredible in Mozart. Amazing attention to detail in her phrasing

i didn't know she had recorded this gem. The best i have heard it , ever. The tempo especially but also that pearly sound. It's unaffected yet expressive, balanced with this right amount of restraint typical of the classical style.

It's exquisite and she's easily one of my favourite Mozart interpreters but listen to Heinrich Neuhaus' version I uploaded years ago, it's a small miracle of elegance and taste. His student Sviatoslav Richter was a big fan of the recording

One of my favorite pianists. Such taste and touch! She's great with JC Bach too.

It was Haebler who first won me over to the Mozart piano sonatas (I was shamefully late getting to that appreciation), not her earlier recordings for Philips, which I did not know at the time, but the later ones on Denon. It was the profound simplicity of expression that she achieved, and as berlinzerberus says below, her making everything sound completely natural that so impressed me. I think she was an astonishing Mozartean. I imagine that, at the age of 91, she still is!

When I first heard this I thought it was by Chopin. Mozart was 50 years ahead of his time with this one. I've listened to quite a number of versions of K511 on TH-cam and I reckon this is the best one. Delicacy of touch but with an inner drive that gives it momentum and meaning. Tempo and phrasing are perfect.
Paderewski is good but it's a scratchy recording.

No one is talking "literally ahead of time", they're talking figuratively. You probably should educate yourself on the common English idiomatic expression "ahead of his/her time" -- unless of course this is an instance invoking poe's law and you're actually being sarcastic.

This is how I hear this piece in my head -- everything just right! And just how I would love to play it if I. had 1/10 her technique!

    youtube machte möglich... :-)

Played in this waltz-like allegretto tempo, it seems to be some pleasant piece of music, good to relax, just enjoyable. Does anybody know that this Rondo is Mozart's expression of grief after the death of his dear friend August Clemens Duke of Hatzfeld, aged 33, in 1787? Mitsuko Uchida knows...

You might think she is a pupil of Heinrich Gustavowitsch Neuhaus...
