  • Divij Singh, a Data Science Engineer with Rakuten Symphony in Japan, joins us for an informal chat.
    Divij shares his experiences of working in Japan as an information technology professional. with Ryoko Nagai of EJable,
    Divij came to Japan for post-graduation at the University of Aizu, a Japanese university with English programs, and later joined Rakuten Symphony, a company of the Rakuten group.
    He learned basic Japanese and is still learning it, but the lack of Japanese skills didn’t prove to be an obstacle to finding a nice job with Rakuten Symphony.
    Divij also shares his thoughts about working in Japan and life as an expat, including social aspects and what he does in his free time.
