Airfix 1:72 Spitfire dual seater

I had a spare canopy for an Airfix 1:72 Mk 1a Spitfire, a box of loose spare parts and I was unsupervised so here's my attempt at a dual seater Spitfire
Always wondered why there isn't a kit of this sort so, given the opportunity, I've built one 😁

That's a nice conversion! My current project also involves going 'off-piste' and discarding the instructions- the important thing is to work out the sequence of adding parts and not gluing until you're sure that adding a particular part or sub-assembly won't make it difficult or impossible to add other bits. I've only gone wrong twice!

I know what you mean. I thought I had that second canopy nailed till I sat it in the Spit. Oh well, it was still fun and everyday is a school day 😁
