Omg you guys.... I did it. I DID IT! it's not as good as Chris' but I've been practicing all of her portrait color alongs for a long long time and I finally DID IT. I am so proud of myself.
Thank you Chris for generously sharing your wonderful skills! Your coloring is beautiful and inspiring. Following this video, I successfully colored my first portrait. I am very pleased with the results. Your guidance made coloring a full page portrait in Hanna Karson’s "Daydreams" an enjoyable process for this 64 y.o newbie to coloring. - Namaste
Wow! Stunning, Chris! You always bring so much life to each coloring. Her eyes are wonderful and you made her facial features stand out so wonderfully, she's just mesmerizing!
Chris you know how much I admire your work. You’ve taught me so much. I have problems with skin tones. The eyes I’m getting better, but skin tones are a challenge for me. I know from watching Color My World i must pick my undertones first. I’ve learned a lot from her channel also. Ty for posting theses. ❤️
I don't think that there's enough words to describe how excellent your coloring is. I will watch this, and your other videos, over and over again and hopefully learn something to help me color better. Thank you for sharing your awesome talent.
I just subscribed to your channel a couple of weeks ago, whether you are coloring or drawing I consider it a master class. I am a visual artist and I learn something from you each time I watch one of your videos. You are very talented!
Yay I finished it! Thanks Chris best face I've ever done with your help. I'd love the whole picture done by you but then I think that making us do it gives us confidence to learn on our own.😊 As you always say. Practice. Practice. Practice.🌹
Your very good when your coloring, watched a few videos. So jealous of you right now, again very good coloring. I would love to color with you. But I love watching you color and taking your time with what you do.
Such an amazing tutorial! Thank you for sharing your talents 💗 my picture came out a lot better than I was expecting it to. I look forward to learning a lot more form you, now to decide how to finish this picture because I don't think you have a video finishing off this one!
you probably dont give a shit but does someone know of a way to get back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost the account password. I appreciate any help you can offer me
Wow just wow. I've done some face colourings and they've been pretty good following you and it was the next project I wanted to start to improve. This one is simply the best so thanks Chris. This is now my new project.👍🌹
Whooopppeee! You're back! This is fabulous beyond belief, and I look forward especially to how you do those round 'vegetables' on her head. I was looking at them the other day and thinking they looked like baby beets. I am too busy to colour just now because box blight has killed 120 box balls in my garden. The whole garden has to be dug up and thrown away. Twelve years work ruined. So back to the drawing board and start again - not easy when we are 70 and 68. Wish us luck! Thanks a million for cheering me up.😄
Sorry about your garden. I have been very busy with work lately and not planning to finish this page, just wanted to share with you guys my skin coloring.
I'd love to know how much pressure to use and if you are doing little circles or up and down strokes. I'm just learning to do this and have heard if you add too much pressure you won't get very good blending. Gorgeous work BTW.
Thanks for letting me know you aren't going to finish this picture. Now I won't be waiting in vain for part two!! I will use the beetroot colours from your Blomstermandala vegetable page to do the little beets. 😉
You are absolutely amazing. So impressive. Have you always been an artist? I ask because I only recently discovered a passion for adult coloring. Do you think it's possible to learn how to color as well as you do . . . or is it a skill you are born with that you either have or don't have.
Chelle Daniel Hi Chelle. Chris is entirely self taught and has only been colouring for a couple of years I think. She has an amazing sense of colour, which you either have or you don't. I have done lots of her pictures and have learnt so much that I am now much more confident about my own ability to choose the right colours.
The prizama colore’s number you showed but mine has different numbers so if you tell colors name that would be more explanation to get same as you. Thanks for sharing
Is it just me or do the eyes on the image of this woman look "cross eyed"? Love the way you color the skin. I am going to try your technique on this same page. I think I am going to adjust the pupils though! HA!! HA!! ❤️
When I click "like" it's because I appreciate the video, not because I expect the content creator to spend their time pandering to every single viewer.
I fail to see how this artist owes you (or anyone else commenting) anything. Some people have a difficult time interacting with others, even when it's online. Maybe check your privilege, appreciate the video for what it is, and don't be a knobhead.

I'd love to know how much pressure to use and if you are doing little circles or up and down strokes. I'm just learning to do this and have heard if you add too much pressure you won't get very good blending. Gorgeous work BTW.

The prizama colore’s number you showed but mine has different numbers so if you tell colors name that would be more explanation to get same as you. Thanks for sharing
It would be very helpful to let everyone know color and number you are using each time you pick up another pencil. Just a thought. Thank you.
She did
