Even Astronauts and Airline Pilots have and use cheat-cheat lists for takeoff and landings...you might want to create your own 'list' for when you leave the home. Got gas? Bring walking shoes. Is it going to rain? Lock trailer... there is no shame in creating a list... it's called 'getting up in years' Thanks for sharing and being so transparent, that's why we love you guys.

Cool seeing how high the wall is. That spring is very clear.
I've watched your channel off and on for awhile. I decided a couple years ago to do something similar only I would park my RV ( in my case a toy hauler) and travel. I stop in a place for a month and ride a day or two in every direction and move on. A month is too long but the price move to continue more often is too high. When I was watching you in the tow behind M/C trailer I thought have I gone too far.
The other cactus are Saguaro Cactus. Only grows in southern Arizona and southern California. They say they branch out when they are at least 70 years old. Hope we get to meet someday

Wanted to visit the wall in Organ Pipe Cactus in February 2020 but it was raining cats and dogs in Why. The wall is incongruent with a nature preserve and they were drilling for ground water every five miles to get water to make concrete!!! And then blasting their way through the hills!!! The wall is ridiculous when you see 11 year old girls freeclimb the wall!!!
The bikes you ride now are more suited for the back roads than the bikes you started on.

interesting wall facts - a group of amateur climbers scaled this wall several times and an 8 year old girl got over it in 22 seconds. The climbers say if they were to design the easiest wall to scale this would be it. The wall is breached an average of 3 time per day I like the flip flops and socks, glad I'm not the only person with good taste

Fort Huachuca has a nice little museum. It's was the last mounted calvary outpost in the U.S. My nephew was there serving our country. Quite a way from NE Ohio on my RS, 30 years ago.!! ., when Petro was much cheaper. 👍👍🏍🏍🏍🙋♂️

The cactus with all the spiny limbs is called Cholla, pronounced choya.
I love the natural springs in AZ. Pretty cool to see the pond that was created by combining five together. The tall "skinny one" is the Ocotillo if I'm not mistaken at what you were pointing out. I have to say, your new basecamp rig with the bikes loaded just looks so cool! 😉 Happy journeys you two.

back in 03 the wife and I went to go see the oasis and were told by some border professionals to avoid going there as it was not safe for people on a motorcycle to go there as the crime rate was very high we took their advice and went elsewhere thanks for letting us see this wonderful place if only through your eyes keep up the good work
It’s obviously safe now. Maybe The Wall and Border Patrol made it safer.

I watched a video one time that used a 360 camera and it let me look all around like I was there. It was the only one that I have see like it. I still like my HKW suit but I have never washed it. It never has leaked. I am waiting to see how your new coat works. I know This is not where you were talking about it. But😵💫🤪 that’s who I am.
I found out that I may be able to render the 360 like that in the middle of a regular video. I mat do a short one in that format to see how it come out.

Good idea talking the hard bags off in the sand. Lance Sr on 2 Lane Life broke his leg in a very simple fall when his leg got trapped under the left hard bag.

Hi Rich and Chris! Just watched most recent video! Enjoyed! We were taught to turn on exhaust fan (whether bathroom or main living area) before and as putting up beds! Helps greatly!!
Ask hubby said make sure all windows and doors closed while doing it also and poles out!

Wow a motorgrader and roller, that's a nicely maintained road. I'm not a real fan of offroad or dirt road, maybe it's because I ride a sport-touring bike with clipons. I love the pj's, pullover, socks and sandles.

Just curious, how much dust does your sheep skin collect? I have one similar and have been hesitant to put it on the bike for that reason. How do you clean it? (Such inane questions after a great video!🤦🏻♂️)

@@ebhkkc1 I feel the same way. My wife is an immigrant. Since moving here we went from averaging 20 to 30 illegals crossing our property a month to zero. Of course I gave them water and many times they asked for us to call BP.
Haven’t had one in over a year now. Others parts of the country are being flooded with illegals. So, in my opinion, the wall works. The amount of trash in the deserts around here has also greatly decreased.

@California_Miner I have a 2022 Honda 450 RL and might take you up on it. I follow itchy boots as well. Please know.... It is never about walls of fears. It is about laws and processes. Just look at Itch boots and all that she has to go through in her journey. We all bleed RED and I want the best for all with no hate, no hardened hearts and JESUS as their rudder. It looks like one of the bikes have the trailmax missions. I was wondering how they performed both on and off the road. Any issues on regular pavement and are they loud?
both bike have them now and we love them. Chris has over 17k milke on hers. and they are not as loud as the continentals

Just found you guys what size are your bikes I used to ride a big harley and my wife also rides but she is only 5'1".I suffered a stroke in 2019 but want to ride again and would love to come down hereto you feel safe
Thanks for finding us. We both ride the R1250GS and a GSA I still have a 09 Roadglide that will be showing her soon again. They make a triumph 90GT low and I bet would fit her and that is an awesome bike.

And I tried white socks with sandals while on a family vacation many years ago. My pre-teen daughter was quick to inform me of the social faux pax.
